The bus was very comfortable, our tour guide Mohammad took us through the historical stories of Bavarian Kings and places. Both castles were worth seeing. Along the way, we also drove through the small towns and mountains, it was amazing.

It was good, but it felt rushed. I feel like an extra 30 mins in each castle would have been great. The guide was a bit rude at times and instructions could have been better communicated.

Josh was one of the most engaging and passionate guides I have had. His knowledge and presentation made this tour extremely enjoyable.

In general the trip was good. There is a few improvements that could be made. Add to the description that you should plan to not bring a backpack with you, as they are not allowed in either castle, nor are you allowed to take pictures from inside. On the first stop, the departure time wasn’t very clear, and i almost missed the bus, and another actually did. Arnaud our tour guide was a bit grumpy throughout the day.

Quite apart from the day, which turned out to be sunny and gorgeous, and the Neuschwanstein Castle which is ridiculously beautiful, what made it special were Annette, our guide and Vladi, our driver. On the narrow road leading to the castle there was an unfortunate accident, which had backed up traffic. Vladi reversed out, took the by-roads and got us there in time for our tour. Annette hustled very effectively to get us our shuttle and our tour and kept her cool and sense of humour throughout. Thank you! And the coffee, snacks and welcome-back beer were nice touches. Highly recommended.

Muhammad was very informative and attentive. The day trip showed the beautiful countryside and quaint villages. The castles are extravagant and a must see.

A thoroughly enjoyable trip from start to finish. Both the driver and Monika our guide were attentive to our needs. Monika’s knowledge of local customs and culture and the history of Ludwig 11 was very extensive and made the trip very interesting. I would certainly recommend this trip.
