Product: Seattle's Original Guided Harbor Cruise
A perfect end to our trip
This was a good last minute decision. The evening was beautiful , the crew friendly and attentive and we enjoyed relaxing on this early evening tour. Several sights were pointed out to us, but the main focus seemed to be on enjoying our time on the water. The 1 1/2 hr trip was just right.

Seattle Locks cruise--pros and cons
Crew were very friendly and narration included interesting tidbits of history and items special interest. My tour started in Eliot Bay where the signage could have been better, e.g. my Uber driver dropped me off at the nearby Starbucks. The highlight of the tour was going through the locks. Because the smaller chamber was under repair we had to wait 30 minutes for inbound traffic to clear before we could proceed. Improvements could be made in 3 areas. 1) the plastic chairs became very uncomfortable after 3 hours. Some padding would make the tour more comfortable and enjoyable. 2) the price of food and drink were too high. I was charged $4,50 for a 12 oz cup of Coke that was only three-quarters full, including ice. 3) i paid for a return trip to Eliot Bay by bus. The bus was a double decker hop on-hop off bus with hard seats. I expected a typical tour bus. We were caught in rush hour traffic and it took almost an hour to return to Eliot Bay. I didn't get back to my hotel until after 5:30. Knowing this, I would now have simply paid for an Uber from Pier 54 directly to my hotel.

My mom and I had a blast on this harbor cruise. I live in Seattle, and our tour guide Erin taught me so many things I didn't know about my city!

Saturday sailing in Seattle
Given the unpredictability of Seattle’s weather, we did not pre-book tickets for the harbour cruise, preferring to chance it on the day itself. There’s plenty to do on the pier so waiting isn’t a major issue but the boats depart on a regular basis. The tour is about an hour of Seattle Harbour with the main sites being pointed out, the history of the development of the city in relation to the waterfront which is obviously an important part of Seattle Heritage, and some wonderful photo opportunities of both the city and the odd Maritime visitor such as seals and whales if you’re lucky. Although it was warm and sunny when the boat tour started, the weather quickly changed in the space of me a minute so I would recommend packing a coat or be prepared to move indoors if you want to sit on the deck. There is a bar service on board as well as laboratories so you are quite well catered for in that regard. The ticket price was fair, quite comparable to other boat tours. I’ve done of other cities in North America and Europe. I didn’t experience any problems with the motion of the boat so if anybody is prone to travel sickness, this boat should be pretty safe for you. I can’t say more than this because a picture paints 1000 words so if you are in Seattle, get yourself on one of the boats and spend an hour in the company of Argosy.

croisière un peu trop longue cpte tenu du fait que seuls les environs de la ville sont spectaculaires...Le tour du reste de la baie présente moins d'intérêt...
