This cruise is a major tourist trap. If you enjoy boat rides and views of the harbor I highly recommend purchasing a ferry ticket instead - you'll spend a quarter of the price and you'll get better seating. The tour guide did do a good job narrating the trip, so that was one good part about this, but overall it really was not worth the price. This cruise has atrocious seating options. The tables along the window are far too large so small parties arriving early sit at the tables, forcing most folks to sit in the middle of the boat facing forward where it is much harder to see out the windows (despite there being room for more folks to have seating along the side windows if the tables were arranged more thoughfully). Furthermore, the seating along the sides of the boat is built into the wall, so folks sitting along that bench have to twist backwards to see out the window, which looked very uncomfortable. There would be room for many more people to enjoy good views from the boat if they replaced those large, 6-person tables with many smaller 2-person tables. Even better, most boat tours I've been on put booths along the side windows so that everyone at the table can simply turn their head to look out the window without having to sit backwards in their seat.

Great Way to See Seattle from the Water. We decided to take the boat ride while walking around the Seattle Pier, and it was totally worth it. The one-hour cruise offers amazing views of Seattle from the water. The guide was engaging, and the dockyard tour was very interesting.

Great experience on a clear and unusually mild late December sailing with out-of-town grandparents and teenagers in tow. Everyone had a great time. It was really nice to see and learn about the waterfront around Seattle. We took the 2hr lock tour sailing from South Lake Union around through the locks back to the pier outside of the Market downtown. Would recommend, especially if the weather is supportive!

I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a fun and informative look at the Emerald City

Wonderful experience! Super helpful & caring staff. I use a cane, & the staff was great as far as assisting me onto the boat & ensuring I was safe. My daughter & I loved seeing the mountains & we were delighted that Mt. Rainer aka Mt. Tahoma was visible too. I also enjoyed & waswarmed by a delicious adult hot chocolate
