I’m giving 1 star due to the unprofessional handling of our booking. We booked the Katla Ice Cave tour, received a confirmation email, and planned our trip around it, including booking a hotel in Vik and traveling from Reykjavik. However, upon arrival, we found out our booking had been canceled without any prior notice or explanation. The company offered to rebook or refund us. We chose to rebook, but no follow-up or confirmation was provided. As a result, we lost an entire day waiting for a response, along with over €400 in expenses for gas and hotel accommodations—all for nothing. This experience was incredibly disappointing and reflects a lack of basic communication and professionalism. To date, we have received no resolution or even an acknowledgment of the situation. I would not recommend this service based on how poorly this was handled. We also still haven't received our refund. I don't see why would we have to wait FIFTEEN DAYS for it to be processed!

I went on the glacier hike tour and south coast adventure with Lili (guide) she was the best!!! She told me all i needed to know about iceland. It was our last tour for our trip and she made it memorable. One of the best guides i've had! And one of the best tour companies. Very organized (sometimes late at the pick up) but all of their guides are welcoming.

Don’t do this in winter as you are changing into and out of dry suits outside freezing cold weather, no shelter or heated space. My friend did snorkel with different company in March who provided heated container space to change but Arctic Adventure offer no shelter to change at freezing -5C windy weather. I almost got frost bite and my wife almost passed out suffering from extreme cold being wet outside at windy frigid weather waiting for a turn to get help undressed. This ruined our experience. Also, it’s a lie that the company offer heated van to change upon request as my wife almost passing out in extreme cold, begging for a warm van to change, but our guide denied her request!!!! Only positive is Dry suite did work with no leak, but hands were frozen as gloves are not water proof. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone in winter or carefully choose an operator who provides warm heated space to changes.

Sindri was beyond anything I could've ever imagined as a guide: great host, fantastic storyteller, safety first always, great humor, and so much more. The coordination of logistics was flawless from beginning to end. It was lovely to see a Spanish Speaking team member at the Ice Caves/Glaciar experience (She is Mexican - I saw her graciously help non-english speakers/spanish speakers from another group which otherwise would've not been able to understand what was happening) It really is a multicultural company and I loved this about Artic Adventures. Saw them recommended by Kyana Sue on Instagram and do not regret making them my choice for exploring Iceland. I wish it would've been longer stays in each place, as it felt a bit rushed. But I was also short on time. It is definitely a great appetizer to encourage one to come back to Iceland and stay for longer.

We had a blast on our ice-climbing tour! It was an epic adventure that we will never forget. We had never done this activity before but our guides were fun, knowledgeable, and we really trusted them. We also enjoyed meeting others on the tour with us. Highly recommend to others.
