We did the "Snaefellsnes & Kirkjufell Small Group Tour" on December 17th. Our Guide was an absolute sweetheart and very informative. He drove through some really difficult road conditions considering the season. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy that part of Iceland without him. If you are traveling through the country during winter (the most beautiful time of year in my opinion) consider them for the parts of Iceland that are not as easy to access in the Winter. The wild landscape is worth it. It is a must-see.

Very Disappointed in this tour for the price we paid! We had a 3hr tour to Katla Ice cave. Most of the tour consisted in the travel to and from the glacier in the 4wd. We spent a very short amount of time actually on the glacier and were very limited in how long we could stay at the cave areas due to other tour groups. There were points on the tour when the guide would just stop and have a chat to another operator, if it wasn’t for that the tour would be over even quicker, they were just killing time. The pictures used in advertising were of older ice caves with exquisite colours that no longer exist so it created higher expectations which were not met. For the price we paid this tour was definitely Not Worth It!!

We spent almost a week in Iceland in what was very unfortunate weather (lots and lots of rain) which I understand that no one can control. This unfortunately put a damper on most of our excursions with AA as each excursion we booked was either cancelled or cut in half. We had a combination tour where only half was completed due to weather. This is understandable but for the other half that couldn’t even be attempted, shouldn’t there be a partial refund? Apparently no. On another tour, we paid for two hours of ATV and only did one hour because of flooding. Again, that is understandable, But should we not be reimbursed for that lost hour? The one hour ATV option was cheaper than the two hour which is what we actually ended up with. We just had the privilege of paying more. On another excursion, we almost missed the meeting point because they sent me the meeting address but never sent me the new updated meeting location that was needed due to construction (it was not in spam either) I only found that out after calling in a panic just barely making it to the other location. Overall, I had a horrible experience with AA over the course of the trip. I understand bad weather is unpredictable and uncontrollable but how they handle situations like that vs the value the customer is getting for what they pay is very poor and it’s clear they don’t really care once they have your money. If I find myself back in Iceland, I may seek out other operators. I just hope I can get my money back for the excursions that were completely canceled.

I booked a three day tour, an additional Northern Lights tour, and transportation through Arctic Adventures. They were all wonderful experiences. It was my first solo trip and first time to Iceland, everyone was well organized and informative. Also shout out to Victoria and Lucas on the Northern Lights tour. Not only did we find stunning views, they were both entertaining and informative

Highly recommend booking with Arctic Adventures!!! Unfortunately we had to cancel the tour we were most excited about (snowmobiling & ice cave tour), we were able to rebook almost immediately on another tour. We ended up doing 4 tours with Arctic Adventures: the Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach & Vík Village tour, Whale Watching tour, Northern Lights Super Jeep tour, and the Snaefellsnes & Kirkjufell tour. LOVED THEM ALL!!!

Elisa ha sido la mejor conductora y guía que hemos tenido de siempre. Aparte que es simpática y muy amable con todo el mundo y la excursión que hicimos de 12 horas con ella se hizo muy agradable y la verdad que también se portó muy bien con nosotros, teníamos luego una excursión de auroras boreales y por hora llegábamos muy justo de tiempo y ella se enrolló y hizo q llegáramos a tiempo dejándonos a nosotros en primer lugar, sin duda Elisa es la mejor😉
