The guide for the tour, a man, did not meet expectations. During the tour, he appeared more focused on personal conversations with a friend who joined him on the bus, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. I also tried reaching out to the tour organizer with multiple emails (around 20), but unfortunately, I have not received any response so far. I hope future tours will offer a more attentive and professional experience.

Really nice travel agency! First we did the aurora tour with a mini bus (around 32 people) and our tour guide was Greta. She was really motivated and kept the spirit of everyone alive! The sky was clear and the activity was also good so we were able to see dancing lights but not so bright with the naked eye. The photos were very good though! The second tour we did was the ice cave Katla. It was also really nice with a different tour guide (unfortunately I don’t remember his name). This tour was divided in two parts as we left from Reykjavik. When we arrived in Vik we changed to a super jeep (operated by another company) and drove around 40min in the snow. Quite a bumpy ride but was really funny! Our tour guide for the ice cave was a different one and he was quite funny. The ice cave always changes because the weather so there was no big ice cave and the famous circle you might see on some photos does not exist anymore. Nevertheless, the experience was great and we were able to see a polar fox frosty 🤩🦊 I do have to mention that the support is also really great! We got a discount code for the 2nd tour but it was not working, so I just called them to explain the problem, and Vlad was prompt and really helpful! I really appreciate it!

We had the most incredible experience with our host “Vicki” and driver “Lucas” we traveled from Australia and cannot recommend this enough - an absolute must! The team were kind enough to pull over to allow us to get a shot of the northern lights too! Finally Vicki you are incredible and thank you for your tremendous insights and your contagious enthusiasm throughout the tour!! 10/10 😊

My mom and I came to Iceland expecting to be amazed by the scenery. I didn’t expect, on top of that, to make friends, laugh hard enough to cry, and feel so at home so quickly—but that’s what happened on our 6-day Ring Road tour through Arctic Adventures. Most of that experience is due to our amazing guide Geirmundur, aka G, who went above and beyond for us to make this trip the experience of a lifetime. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable, and sneakily hilarious to boot. He became a friend to us and it was genuinely so sad to part ways even after just six days. On this tour we learned so much about the natural and cultural history of Iceland, everything from the elf stories of Old Year’s Day to the science of subglacial volcanoes. We did end up skipping Þingvellir and Stuðlagil canyon, which I was a little bummed about, but there just isn’t enough daylight in the winter to hit everything, and the payoff in terms of more time at other sites was worth the sacrifice. I echo a previous review’s suggestion to implement winter-specific itineraries since this one seems designed for more daylight. The first two days of this tour were jam packed with traditional tourist stops of Iceland: Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Geysir and Strokkur, and the Reynisfjara black sand beach on the first day; and Jökulsárlón (glacier lagoon), Diamond Beach, and the ice cave tour on the second day. After that, the crowds and towns thinned out significantly and we got a chance to really experience a wilder side of the country. We enjoyed this mixture as it allowed us to see all the popular stops on our first Iceland trip while also experiencing a part of the island that visitors don’t always make it to. In terms of accommodation, we loved all the hotels but especially the Wilderness Center on night 3, where we shared a delicious traditional Icelandic family style meal and saw the aurora borealis from the hot tub on New Year’s Eve. (Unbelievable.) The very nice hotel in Akureyri was such a treat as well. And the breakfasts were all amazing! We saw so much in six days that my brain is having a hard time processing it. I loved it all. I am so grateful for Geirmundur, for this group, and for the opportunity to see this incredibly beautiful country. I will cherish the memories formed on this trip for the rest of my life. Takk fyrir! ❤️
