Absolutely loved everything about this tour, our guide friman was great really informative and knew exactly where to go. Within about 30 minutes of arrival of our first location we saw the lights and they were incredible! I’d highly recommend using these guys as they get off the track and far enough away from civilisation to give you the best chance at seeing the lights. I spoke with a couple who did the tour the same night with a different company and didn’t get to see them so was mega happy that I went with Arctic Adventures!

Ich habe die Snowmobile & Ice Cave Tour gemacht. Das Schneemobil fahren war ein echt tolles Erlebnis, auch wenn die Sicht an diesem Tag so schlecht war, dass man gerade so nur den Fahrer vor sich gesehen hat. Die Eishöhle hat mich jedoch total enttäuscht. Ich hatte eine große Eishöhle erwartet durch die man auch durchlaufen kann, wie sie auf den Bildern des Angebots zu sehen war. Leider war die Höhle sehr klein, sodass nicht einmal die gesamte Gruppe hineingepasst hat. Die fast 400€ die mich die Tour gekostet hat (mit Einzelfahrer Aufpreis) war es daher absolut nicht wert.

WORT TOUR COMPANY IN ICELAND. I would give them a minus five star if possible We had booked Silfra snockling tour for three and one scuba with Artic adventure. First they cancelled the scuba at 12.30 in the night on the previous day unilaterally, and did not even give us any prior intimation. When we called the office the staff was very rude and said that "why dod you book one scuba and 3 for snockling" and that now they will not be able to do anything. The voucher of the booking said that we should reach by 10 Am. While we were on our way, the car three cars ahead of us had an accident because of which the traffic was stopped. We immediately called the customer care to inform ther we might be a little late, to which they said that they will inform the tour guide. We reached at 10.05 AM but the tour guide was very rude and told us that he will not be able to take us. Even though we saw that the others had just started to get ready. The tour guide was utterly unaccomodating and rather went away rather that listening to us. We stayed around repeatedly requesting to be accomoded though it was none of our fault. We even saw that the tour actually began 30 minutes after we had arrived. The tour company did not provide us any resolution. This company is a scam, just there to snatch your Money. Pathetic service. JUST DONT BOOK THROUGH THEM. WORST TOUR COMPANY IN ICELAND.

We had to reschedule the activity because the first time we were unable to see the Northern Lights, but the guides were excellent in both cases. As a positive point, I would highlight the possibility of doing the activity again when the lights weren't visible due to weather conditions.

Amazing tour and our guide Frey was the best!!! Everything was thoroughly planned out!!! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the most of Iceland within a week!! Thank you for this wonderful adventure; our group had a beautiful time!!!!

We done 2 tours with Arctic Adventures. Both were very well organized and very informative. Our favorite was the Volcano Tour. The golden circle is also really lovely however the drive and journey is exhausting with most of the time on the road. Suggest perhaps including stops in some smaller towns would be interesting

Tomasz a été remarquable: bonne humeur communicative, il nous a délivré de nombreuses explications et a su répondre à nos attentes. Il en a été de même avec la charmante jeune fille qui nous a fait découvrir le glacier. Elle a été très attentionnée. Enfin elle a été très vigilante sur tout le parcours autant au niveau sécurité que sur les capacités physiques de chacun. Une très belle journée, merci à tous

We did the 6-day around Iceland Adventure. Our guide, Siggi is a great storyteller, very friendly, knowledgable and very integrated within the industry which helped create a seamless experience throughout. We were worried about driving in winter conditions, and very glad we came with Arctic Adventures - we encountered some heavy wind and rain that Siggi managed with great composure. We've been on a few different tours and we thought this was a very well-designed experience with great stops that may be slightly tailored along the way depending on conditions and the group. We got lucky with the northern lights and were able to see them visibly twice despite the forecast not looking great. We had two external tours (connected but with different guides), the whale watching (fantastic), and the Ice cave (felt super rushed amidst all the other tour groups but the sights were great). Other highlights were being able to get behind Seljalandsfoss falls (uncommon in winter!), seeing a humpback whale dive, a visit to Icelandic horses (and their puppy siblings), and just all the immense sights Iceland has to offer. Overall, we had such a great time, highly recommend this for first timers, I can't wait to come back.

We have done three tours with Arctic during our stay in Iceland. And we couldn't have been more right They are a local company, serious, committed, punctual, friendly and very professional. Their guides live what they do and know what they talk about. I would definitely repeat and recommend to anyone who visits the country. It was a fantastic way to do three 12-hour tours to get an intense idea of Iceland, thanks to you. Thank you for letting us "re-try" the Magic Auroras excursion, we weren't lucky on the first try, but we were on the second. Magic. Thank you

Iceland is a beautiful country, but I strongly urge you to avoid booking with Arctic Adventures. Our experience with their misleading marketing, poor communication, and refusal to take accountability turned an otherwise great trip into a frustrating ordeal. 1. Inadequate and Misleading Pre-Trip Communication One of the most crucial details when booking a multi-day tour is knowing the exact timing of departures and returns, especially for flight planning. However, Arctic Adventures: - Failed to provide clear, upfront information on our return time from the final day of the tour. The itinerary provided via their booking partner, Guide to Iceland, made it seem like we would be back in Reykjavik much earlier than we actually were. - Did not provide the tour vouchers until just 16 days before the trip (on a Friday evening, no less), making it impossible to make changes before their 14-day cancellation deadline the following Monday. 2. Unfair and Deceptive Cancellation Policy - Despite their vague pre-trip information, Arctic Adventures rigidly enforced their multi-day tour cancellation policy, which was never clearly disclosed before booking. - When I sought a refund for the final day of the tour—after discovering that their unclear itinerary had caused major scheduling conflicts—I was stonewalled, even though I had followed all refund request procedures based on the information they had actually provided on the voucher for the final day's activity. 3. Overpriced, Company-Owned Stops & Hidden Kickbacks While food is not included in the tour price, Arctic Adventures conveniently brings travelers to their own hotels and restaurants, where you’ll pay exorbitant prices for meals. They also seem to have financial arrangements with other overpriced establishments along the route. It's one thing to pay a premium in Iceland, but it’s another to be intentionally funneled into price-gouging locations that benefit the tour operator rather than the customer. 4. An Unqualified Tour Guide While our guide was a kind and friendly person, he was shockingly unprepared for his job. He lacked: - Basic historical knowledge of the places we visited. - Any storytelling ability to bring the experience to life. - Organizational skills, which made the tour feel chaotic and left travelers confused about daily logistics. These are the three fundamental skills a guide should have, and unfortunately, this guide had none of them. Final Verdict For nearly $2,500 per person, I expected a professional, well-run experience. Instead, Arctic Adventures delivered poor communication, deceptive policies, and blatant attempts to squeeze every last dollar out of travelers. Their refusal to acknowledge or compensate for their missteps—despite clear evidence of misleading marketing—shows a complete lack of customer care. I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel obligated to warn future travelers: Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable tour companies in Iceland—Arctic Adventures is not one of them.

Great tour and experience, you get to see a lot and decent time at each place too. Tomasz was our guide and he was amazing, gave us excellent recommendations on how to spend our time wisely at each location. It was so wet that my feet got absolutely soaked and he even had a spare pair of socks for me. Really great experience I will never forget. Highly recommend.
