Been back in my hometown for a few days and can’t stop thinking about beautiful Iceland. We did the 6-Day Ring Road Tour with Vjeran and it was absolutely amazing- from the sights, activities, and food to Vjeran’s knowledge, storytelling, and light-heartedness. To top it off, we had a wonderful and diverse group of people on the tour to share the experience with. Thank you Vjeran and Arctic Adventures!

March 2025 - Went on a day tour for the snowmobiling experience and had an incredible time. The views are unlike anything! If you are concerned about the price, it is well worth it. Our tour guide, Aron, was awesome and gave some facts along the way, had a great playlist too. I would suggest booking from the Geysir area meet up location unless you are spending that night in Reykjavik, that adds about 2.5 hours onto the 4 hour experience. It is cold, but they provide a head cover and gloves. I would recommend thermals, layers and very warm socks.

Very disappointing. I went on several tours with this agency just because I booked the trips in advance simply believing in their description. Realty is that their fleet of diesel vans is sub-standard and so old that those cars would be banned in many EU countries. The guide-drivers were always late for picking us up and they showed no empathy for tourists (customers) who had to wait in bad weather. The vans are very uncomfortable, extremely noisy and with dirty seats, while some parts are being clued with tape. We inhaled the diesel gas all the way due to poor ventilation and on several occasions we had to keep the sunroof window open due to the strong condensation so it went very cold inside. A tour in "small" group means spending 9-11 hours in these 19+2 seats vans, with limited space when people had to keep their backpacks on their laps and also to hold on their wet jackets. There is one single person from the agency, the "guide-driver", and it was shocking how poorly prepared they were. This agency is years behind the other Icelandic travel companies but they do dare to overcharge for their guided tours.

The advertising promises snowmobile tour on the Icelandic glacier. My friend and i signed up for Reykjavik pick up option. Pick up was timely at the designated pick up spot, but then the bus drove around city for a while picking up others. This was followed by 1.5 hrs ride to their base not far from Gullfoss. After a half an hour spent in their cafe we were fitted with coveralls, helmet and balaclava (recommend bring your own). Next step was another 45 minute drive on monster snow truck-bus on bad road covered with mixture of snow ice and mud til we reached the snow field where they keep snowmobiles. No one in the group had any experience riding snowmobiles. After a brief (5 min) instruction on how to ride snowmobile we rode for about half an hour to the entrance to the ice cave. You can either ride alone (for extra $$) or have 2 people - one rider and one passenger. The ice "cave" is basically melted out space at the tip of the glacier, it is about 6.5 feet high and 15 by 20 ft, the very narrow melted water channel extend further under the glacier. We spent half an hour milling around there looking at the ice, we had about a dozen and half people and we filled it. We then reversed the steps and rode back to the monster truck/bus. Visibility was very limited with occasional glimpses of snowy crags. We returned to the base where we stayed for an hour at their cafe with limited food choices, coffe and beer. Returned to Reykjavik by a different road , some nice views along the way. The total time from pick up to drop off in town was about 8.5 hrs. The guides were exceptionally nice. The snowmobile ride for the novice was unnerving, very bumpy and uneven as the snow was melted in spots, several snowmobiles flipped over (no injuries :-)). Curiously, contrary to the advertizing, we were never actually on the glacier. The snowmobile ride was actually on the snow field covering rocks that typically melts in summer. So, if snowmobiling is your thing you might as well just ride snowmobile in any snowy place in the world (being from US midwest there are better places in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan) Visibility was minimal with occasional glimpses of neighboring peaks (which you may just as well see from the road ). We went there in mid March. So, you will enjoy it of you never seen ice cavity, want to ride snowmobile on ungroomed terrain on a snowfield and if lucky with weather want to see some snow covered rocky peaks and have a few hundred dollars to spend. Again, the guides were very nice and informative. IMHO the cost did not justify the trip.

I loved the tour with them! I chose a two-day tour of the south coast... it was amazing. I went with little time and I saw everything I had to see of that part, the guide who took us was really magical and even showed us some places that were not on the tour that he knew. I totally recommend it !

Had an amazing six day tour around Iceland with so many wonderful experiences. Our guide, Siggi, was the best. He had so much knowledge on the history, culture and natural wonders of Iceland. At every stage of the trip he would share experiences and stories that you wouldn’t get if you did a self drive tour of Iceland.

We did the small group (only 7 of us) afternoon Golden circle tour, despite there being issues with the van and having to drive back the office to swap over this did not impact our enjoyment of the tour. Our tour guide Michel was incredibly knowledgeable, clearly very passionate about Iceland, and very funny. The tour would not have been the same without him, and he made the trip even more memorable! Despite this being an “express” tour we found it the perfect length of time at each location.

We did the Golden Circle tour and our guide was Tomasz. He was very knowledgeable and funny, although his accent made it hard for the group to understand him so many people were confused about what he was asking or saying. Overall we still had a great time visiting a volcano, fault line, geysers and waterfalls. We would have preferred spending more time at the geyser site as it was combined with lunch and 70 minutes to visit the site and eat lunch (not to mention using the restrooms) was cutting it very close to departure time. We basically gulped down our soup and carried the rest of our lunch onto the tour bus. 90 minutes would have been ideal. Tomasz took use to have locally made ice cream at a dairy farm and even helped a fellow passenger find her wallet she had lost. Overall super fun, super welcoming, just want a little more time.

This tour exceeded my expectations and was indeed a memorable experience. Apart from the first day of travelling we were very fortunate to have dry and often sunny weather. We also had a marvellous guide who was knowledgeable, well organised, and occasionally funny. He managed to get the balance of Icelandic music, informative commentary, and contemplative solitude absolutely correct. Thank you Siggi. Iceland is a magnificent country with stunning geology, a deep sense of its history and beautiful scenery. We saw all of that on this trip. The highlights - and there were many: Northern Lights several times, a humpback whale so close it felt touchable, the Myvatn hot lagoon to ourselves, and a stunning drive across the snowy wild country from Egilsstaðir to Myvatn. Most of all being woken by my Aurora App at 0430 and having the northern lights roaring silently above me at the Wilderness centre outside in the cold windy darkness. The hotels were all comfortable, especially the Berjara chain in which we stayed twice. I have seen sixty seven winters this was the first 'organised tour' holiday I have ever done - to my surprise it was excellent.
