Vjeran expertly guided us through the Golden Circle and even added a couple of waterfalls to the itinerary, knowing how much my group loves them. His positive attitude and deep knowledge of the terrain truly enhanced our experience. We left feeling satisfied that we had seen the best of Iceland and gained a richer understanding of its history and geography.

⚠️ Arctic Adventures is unprofessional – Would Recommend Alternatives During our recent trip to Iceland, we went on three tours with Arctic Adventures: the Katla Ice Cave tour, whale watching in Reykjavík, and snorkeling at Silfra. While the destinations themselves were stunning, our experience with the company left a lot to be desired. The most concerning incident occurred during the Katla Ice Cave tour. After a stop at a waterfall, the group reboarded the bus, and the driver simply looked around and said, “Looks like everyone is here—let’s go,” without doing a headcount. Unfortunately, two participants were left behind. 20 minutes down the road, we had to turn back to retrieve them, but what stood out was that the driver never acknowledged or apologized for the mistake. It was a serious lapse in professionalism and safety protocol. We also had a disappointing interaction with their customer service team. When I called to raise concerns and asked to speak to a manager, I was told that speaking to management wasn’t allowed. This lack of accountability and transparency made the situation even more frustrating. While the guides we encountered were generally friendly, there were clear signs of inconsistent training and coordination across the company. By contrast, we also booked tours with Icelandia, and the experience was noticeably more professional. They handled logistics smoothly, their staff were well-trained, and when an issue came up, they proactively offered a refund—a level of service we truly appreciated. Icelandia is also Iceland’s largest tour provider and offers all the same tours as Arctic Adventures, plus many more. In summary, Iceland is an extraordinary place to explore, but based on our experience, I would recommend considering alternative tour operators like Icelandia who offer a more reliable and professional experience.

Unforgettable Private Tour of Iceland with Vjeran! Highly Recommend! We booked a private two-day South Coast tour with Arctic Adventures, and having Vjeran as our guide made the trip absolutely unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, we felt at ease. His passion for Iceland is contagious and added so much meaning to everything we saw. Our itinerary was packed, and we were originally told we wouldn’t have time for Glacier Lagoon or Diamond Beach. But after our first stop, Vjeran reevaluated and said, “Okay, I’ve figured it out, we can get there!” From that point on, it was the adventure of a lifetime. He got us to every must-see spot on the South Coast and even added a few unexpected stops, including places our kids found on TikTok! His deep knowledge of Icelandic history, geology, and local culture made each stop more engaging. He’s also an excellent photographer, capturing moments we’ll always cherish. We were so impressed that we canceled our group Golden Circle tour and booked a private Golden Circle tour with him instead. Best decision we made. If you’re visiting Iceland and want a personalized, meaningful, and fun experience, request Vjeran. He’s knowledgeable, flexible, enthusiastic, and truly made our trip unforgettable.

Amazing experience snorkeling at the Silfra fissure, as well as hiking the glacier. The guides are more than trained, and everything was organized to be done appropriately and safely.

This is a sincere review! We chose the Golden Circle & Snorkelling tour in Sufra. For the Golden Circle part, our guide was Magga, she is the best guide we could have! She knows a lot about the history of Iceland and the tourist attractions we visited. Throughout the trip she explained everything in detail. Very attentive and patient!
