We had Lili as our driver and tour guide on the Golden Circle Tour. She was just amazing, Kind and Funny! She couldn’t do enough to help. She shared so much knowledge and recommendations. A true asset to the company.

Very disappointing experience at Silfra Silfra itself is absolutely incredible, but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the guide. She was unfriendly from the start and made an inappropriate comment (“today I chose Italian breakfast coffee, cigarettes, and violence”), which immediately made the atmosphere uncomfortable. English is not our first language (nor the guide’s). Whenever I politely asked her to repeat instructions, she raised her voice and said things like “you didn’t listen,” which was embarrassing in front of the group. This happened more than once. She showed no consideration that people may need instructions repeated due to language barriers, hearing difficulties, anxiety, or simply because this activity can be overwhelming for first-timers. Eventually, I stopped asking questions altogether, even when I needed help, because I was afraid of being shouted at again. About 10 minutes after entering the water, she suddenly told me I was “not swimming correctly,” yet she did not demonstrate or correct me beforehand and only kept repeating that I was doing it wrong. My sister had an even worse experience. She entered last and could not clearly see the instructions because there were people in front of her and the guide moved too quickly. The guide made no effort to re-explain, reassure her, or help her overcome her fear. She felt so overwhelmed that she quit before even properly starting. This was especially disappointing because we have done diving (not just snorkeling) before, where instructors were calm, patient, and explained everything step by step to help people feel safe. This guide did none of that. Additionally, one of our friends mentioned that she does not know how to dive and asked if a life vest was available to help her feel more comfortable. Instead of calmly explaining that the dry suit provides flotation and that diving is not required, the guide simply told her that she could not participate. Lastly, the photos included in the tour were extremely poor. After seeing other guests’ pictures—which were beautiful—it was clear ours were far below standard. Since photography is advertised as part of the tour, I expected basic competence. This was extremely disappointing, especially since this was the activity we were most excited about during our trip to Iceland

5 Day Northern Lights, Golden Circle, South Coast, Jökulsárlón & Ice Cave: The aim of my visit was to finally see the Northern Lights but I wanted to see some of the Island too - Arctic Adventures delivered in spades! There was an initial hiccup over date availability but after that organisation and comms were faultless. Each day delivered new and exciting adventures along the south coast and Golden Circle. Highlights included Diamond Beach with mini-icebergs, the Glacier walk and ice-cave (amazing!) and several stunning waterfalls and black sand beaches. The night boat tour to see the Northern Lights was breathtaking (mother nature cooperated!) and not to be missed. Hotel accommodation was great throughout and better than I was expecting. Our tour guide Michel was outstanding - his local knowledge, sense of humour and appreciation of the whole group (from children to pensioners! ) added to the enjoyment factor immeasurably! Very highly recommended!

We did the 2 day south coast tour and would definitely recommend it. The mini bus was comfortable, the accommodation was nice it’s a good way to see some amazing places in Iceland.

My boyfriend and I went on the Northern Lights Tour 12/12, and it was truly the best part of our entire trip. Our guide was Gummi and he was incredible. We were able to see the lights with our own eyes. It was breathtaking. He knew exactly where the lights were going to be and took so many amazing pictures for us. If you're in Iceland, I recommend using this company. We met other people at our hotel who said other companies cancelled the tour because they believed they wouldn't see any Northern Lights. Use Arctic Adventures!!

This adventure tour is very very good. Our guide Magga is very kind and helpful, she is a expert of Iceland. She told us some local stories and taught us how to speak simple Icelandic. It’s a good choice if you want to explore Iceland.

We had an incredible experience on the South Shore Arctic Adventures tour today, and our guide Lily made it truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, Lily was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared fascinating insights about the landscape, wildlife, and local history, bringing the entire journey to life. Lily’s passion for the Arctic was clear in everything she did. She was attentive to everyone in the group, made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times, and went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best viewpoints and had plenty of time to enjoy and photograph them. Her enthusiasm was contagious and made the experience even more special. If you’re considering a Arctic Adventures tour, I can’t recommend Lily enough. She is an exceptional guide who truly elevates the entire experience. This was a highlight of our trip and something we’ll remember for a long time!

Perfect Pickup and return time with an expert guide who went beyond the advertised Kerið Crater, Gullfoss, Haukadalur Geothermal Area and Þingvellir National Park to showcase Icelandic Ponies and a great Bakery. Highly recommended bang for the buck!

Elisa was an amazing guide!! She had so much knowledge and you could teel her enthusiasm and passion for her job. I loved how she included Icelandio music on the ride in between her talking. She shared information about the artists too. She invited everyone to dinner and made the group all feel welcomed together. She did fun small extra things like pulling over to pet the horses and driving by Viking houses. She had such a positive passionate energy and she made the tour amazing! My favorite part of the tour was the glacier hike. Truly an unforgettable experience!
