We had a very concerning experience with Arctic Adventures on the Silfra snorkeling tour. We were left standing outside in freezing temperatures for over 90 minutes in frozen, rock-hard wetsuits. We were never properly assigned a guide and were eventually added last-minute to a group that already exceeded the stated limit (8 people total) and had already completed the safety briefing. Instructions were then rushed while we were still being fitted with gear. Due to the clear disorganization and safety failures, we did not feel safe proceeding and left. Arctic Adventures later refused to take any responsibility and hid behind their cancellation policy, mischaracterizing this as “personal discomfort.” Thankfully, we booked through GetYourGuide, who resolved this properly. Do not recommend. Safety and organization are clearly not a priority.

Amazing experience, can’t recommend it enough. Tour guide was so informative and gave us the space to enjoy each place. Was very organised and even went above and beyond to give us and extra experience to see Icelandic horses ! Would use again.

Magga was such a wonderful host! She had so many great stories to share and was an excellent driver. When our trip had to pivot due to weather it was handled so well and we were taken care of without any issues. We would definitely recommend this place and Magga.

We did the snowmobiling and ice cave tour leaving from Geysir. I give the experience 3 stars for a few reasons: 1) Rude tour guide - I didn't feel the emails from Arctic Adventures made it clear enough, and there was no emails with further details so when we should up on what we thought were 'on time' we were yelled at in quite a rude way by a tour guide that we were late. We cooperated and rushed, of course, but that was a very terrible start to the tour. Even if we were late, I thought the way he treated us was highly inappropriate 2) General sentiment from experience from the guides - once the monster truck was full, without much instruction said we will see you in about an hour and to stay seated. I heard others sitting near me saying they were confused as to what was going on more than once. Even as a paying customer you felt like a student being yelled at or a pest. 3) Actual experience - once we were on the snowmobile and in the ice cave, the experience was great, hence 3 stars! But I don't think the credit goes to the tour guides. Of the tour guides, there were a couple outwardly rude ones but the rest were fine, and there were a few nice ones too. I would recommend the experience, but maybe with a different provider.

We joined the 2-day South Coast Tour from January 6th to 7th, 2026. Many thanks to our tour guide, Magga! She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and stories about Iceland. She led us throughout the tour safely and punctually. We would like to thank her for these two days; she truly made our trip a memorable one!

Ayer tuvimos la excursión de la cueva de hielo de Blue Ice Cave. La realidad es que el tour fue un poco decepcionante. Las cuevas estaban derretidas por lluvias y altas temperaturas en diciembre, pero los guías nos explicaron esto al llegar, si lo hubiéramos sabido antes hubiéramos cancelado el tour, ya que es muy poco lo que se pudo observar. Al momento de contratar nos dijeron que el tour duraba 3/4 horas y finalmente duró 2 horas, incluyendo 1 hora de viaje. Además durante el viaje la van se llenó de tierra lo cual era bastante desagradable porque dificultaba la respiración.

Absolutely outstanding experience over the last 2 days on our South Coast Iceland trip with Magga. A trip of a lifetime seeing the most amazing country of fire and ice. Magga’s knowledge, guiding, pacing and experience was brilliant. Can’t recommend enough, and we want to come back!

10/10 experience! I got to see everything without feeling rushed, the bus was comfortable and had WiFi. (Important because there's a lot of driving) And the hotels were comfortable. A very smooth trip!

Amazing experience! Lili, the guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. The Golden Circle tour was well organized and offered breathtaking landscapes and great insights into Icelandic nature and culture. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My partner and I signed up for the Glacier XTREME tour and it truly did deliver. First of all, our instructor, Martin, was absolutely awesome! The weather wasn't particularly great but that didn't matter because Martin brought the vibes and went above and beyond in ensuring we had a spectacular day. We learnt about the glaciers, how to ascend glaciers in our crampons and then got to some climbing! If you are fit and looking for an adventure then this is it. This day was the highlight of our trip and if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, then this is the tour for you!
