Fun way to spend an evening

Lara was an excellent & engaging guide. We learned a lot of Chicago history along the way. We toured in October - would highly recommend bringing a warm coat, gloves & a hat. Breezy and chilly near the water.

An evening with the paranormal and mob

This tour was filled with a significant amount of Chicago history to include the paranormal. It was a great balance of walking and exploration. For those skeptical, try it and see if you feel the same at the conclusion of the scenic walking tour. You will also get a little insight on the mob activity of the twenty’s and thirties. It’s encouraged to take this tour in the evening during the spring/summer as the temps were as good as the tour. Thank you Tony giving us a great experience that will be remembered for a long time.

Ghost tour

We’ve done a couple tours of Chicago in the past and this one didn’t disappoint! Tony was a great guide and well informed. Bringing along some “ghost hunting” equipment for the attendees to use was an added bonus!! All in all, a great time!!

A fun event with real Ghost specialists

I've gone on a couple tours several years apart. Sadly I never saw a ghost on tour but I heard some great stories and learned interesting historical facts about my city. It is a lot of fun and the guides are experts in the field.

Awesome Tour

Took their tour with my family including my 8yr old daughter and we all had a blast!! Learned alot of history about Chicago and got some pretty cool pictures and even an EVP outside of the Hull House. Highly recommended the tour!!

Chicago Haunts Bus Tour

I grew up in Chicago and I have learned so much more on these tours about the history of my City. The tour guide Mr. Tony S. and Mr. Jack B of Chicago Hauntings are very knowledgeable of the history, the people, the buildings as well as the haunting stories. During this bus tour Tony gave the tourists an opportunity to share their own stories while traveling from one site to another. I have taken many other of these tours with this Ghost Haunting and I am never disappointed. The use of electronical equipment (meters and other items) made the whole experience a lot more fun and interesting. I look forward to the next tour.

Girls Night Out

It was a group of friends so that was half the fun right there. The history part of the tour was very good. The guide was knowledgeable and had some inside info about some of the places we visited. In fact he gave almost too much information, a few of my friends felt like they needed note cards to keep up and I have to admit my mind wandered a couple of times. We felt like it would have been better if there were more haunting stories and less about where his family lived. Don’t get me wrong, there were stories like that but we wanted more.

Fascinating stops & stories

I’ve visited Chicago many times and have done the Architectural boat tours, historic buildings, etc and this was my first time doing a Hauntings bus tour. I usually don’t want to commit 3 hours to a tour, or don’t have the time, but this was worth it. Our tour guide, Tony was a great storyteller. He had a wealth of knowledge on the city and buildings. It’s not a dry history lesson on Chicago nor silly ghost stories. It’s accurate historical information based on actual events that explain why these sites are haunted. The stories are delivered with stops along the way that you get to experience for 10-15 min. Just enough time to try an electric meter or divining rods (shared during the tour) to see if you can detect any spirits. All in good fun - lots of shrieks and laughter.

Year round informative activity for all ages!

Had a blast learning about the history of Chicago. Was cool we did it near Halloween but would be informative any time of year! JoAnn was extremely knowledgable and it was awesome to see great enthusiasm in what she spoke about! The view of the city at night was beautiful!

Great time and learned a lot!

Enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about Chicago history, even beyond the fun haunting and paranormal history.

Chicago history

I felt the tour and tour guide deserve 5 stars (3 hours), but i felt a little shorted about the actual HH Holmes information. I loved going into areas I've never visited! If you love Chicago history, this is a great tour, if you want to learn a lot about HH Holmes, you might feel you want more.

Fun!

This was a fun outting with my Mother and my adult children. Larry was fun and informative, we loved the comedy relief from the sad history. We will be back.
