Wonderful experience! We had the privilege of touring the Normandy American Sector with Valentin, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, he demonstrated incredible knowledge, passion, and respect for the history of this sacred place. What stood out most was the way Valentin brought the stories to life—connecting the strategy, the personal sacrifices, and the lasting significance of D-Day in a way that was both deeply informative and profoundly moving. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and we never felt rushed. He struck the perfect balance between historical detail and personal reflection, allowing us to truly appreciate the magnitude of what happened here. We left the tour with not only a greater understanding of the events of June 6, 1944, but also with immense gratitude for the men and women who served. This experience was the highlight of our trip, and we cannot recommend Valentin highly enough to anyone visiting Normandy.

Tips for visiting Mont St. Michel

Ophorous provides the abbey ticket and transportation. Our trip driver/guide Valentin explained that due to crowds Go to the Abbey at the top first, while not busy, then after stop at view points for pictures, then shop at village shops and stop for lunch as the place explodes with tourists coming in, and lastly go out onto the sand if low tide, and get photo ops. It was a great tip, and then you can walk back and cut over on the right side dirt path to pass by the sheep for awesome pics on the way back to the meeting point.

une grotte exceptionelle avec organisation remarquable

Excellente organisation,visite par groupe d’environ 25 personnes avec audioguides et un excellent guide Victor qui nous a enchanté par son humour et ses explications accessibles à tous bien qu il soit un érudit archéologue. L'avidité globale dure entre 1h30 et 2h dont 30 mn dans la grotte 4 reconstituée au MM près. Puis il y a dénombrement salles avec des reconstitutions partielles et didactiques des gravurep,us des films.

The tour of Albi, Cordes and the Chateau de Mayragues vineyard near Gaillac was wonderful. Amelie was our tour guide and driver and was so knowledgeable. There was a good balance of guided parts and free time. Although it is a long day, so you don’t get too much free time. It’s a great tour for those who want to see a lot of the Tarn without having to self drive, or are short on time. You do need to have ok mobility - while there isn’t too much walking, Cordes is up a hill and has lots of cobble stones! The wine at the end of the tour was welcome and delicious!

Saint Emilion Full-Day Wine Tour From Bordeaux

Alex our tour guide was excellent. Diverse group of tourists but brought everyone together. Very relaxed and knowledgeable about the wine district. Excellent recommendations for lunch in Saint Emilion

We had Camille as a tour guide, she was very knowledgable and fun to chat with! She also tailored the information she shared based on other people’s experiences and knowledge of wine which added to the experience. She also provided us with some suggestions of things to do in town. We used her suggestion for the wine bar which was lovely. We got to go to two different wineries with very different vibes but both delicious. There was a good assortment of red, white, and rosé wine to try. I do not love red wines and faced zero judgement for that. It was honestly such a great time. The people I met on the tour were great and many laughs were had. The vehicle we took had great air conditioning.

Pascal, our guide was fantastic. His knowledge of the D Day landings is encyclopedic, but delivered in a very human way . His stories of the hero's, the leaders , and the common men and women made it all seem very real . The tour was incredibly efficient, balancing the need for individual exploration and reflection while covering the essentials . Our Mercedes van was spotless and comfortable. We could not have been more satisfied. Thank You Pascal !!

Camille heeft onze wijntour heel gezellig gemaakt. Ze wist veel van de 2 wijngaarden en had vooral met de eerste wijnproefhost van Bargamone een gezellige klik. Dit was ook mijn favoriet. We kregen echt een kijkje in de wijngaard en het proces van gaard tot fles. De 2e locatie was heel oud en traditioneel en de host leek wat minder enthousiast.
