Beautiful Day!
This was the perfect tour for me to get a feel a small town in the Mediterranean and the wine tasting. I am I. Aix getting my daughter settled in grad school, and was ready for a day out of Aix on my own while she was in orientation. Our guide Alex was great, so much great information conveyed!

Great D-Day Tour
Our tour guide Pascal was excellent. He told great stories with a mix of seriousness, humor, and eloquence that brought the D-Day history to life. We took a half-day tour which was the right amount for my kids.

The weather was warm and wonderful, the car very comfortable and our welcome, like the weather. Our guide, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was fabulous.The tour got off to a great start as we meandered through the French country with a thorough exposition of what lay ahead and details of the invasion. We visited three destinations- the American Cemetery, Assault on Pointe du Huc and Omaha Beach. With each of the destinations our guide gave us thorough and interesting information and then gave us time to immerse ourselves in the moment and reflect on what had transpired. The silence and respect of the Cemetry, the bravery of the US Rangers and the logistics of their task at Pointe de Hoc and the sheer enormity of the landing on a 4 mile beach at Omaha was appropriately conveyed by our wonderful guide. The experience was enlightening, at times ethereal and throughly enjoyable.

Fun AND educational!
10/10 recommend this trip! Our guide Pauline was truly the best - welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun! We had an elderly couple join who did not understand the tour in English, but Pauline was so helpful to them and went above and beyond to make the tour good for everyone. We saw so many amazing sights and Pauline gave context to almost everything we saw - I could listen to her for hours! I went solo but made friends on the tour. If you want to see the gems of Alsace, do this tour!

Our tour covered Pointe Du Hoc, the American Cemetery and Omaha Beach. The vehicle was fairly comfortable and the guide was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. In the limited time of four hours available, we could see the important American landing sites in Normandy. We enjoyed especially the visit to Pointe Du Hoc and the American Cemetery. However, the visit to Omaha Beach could have been shorter and that time spent more usefully in Pointe Du Hoc and the American Cemetery, especially the latter where the tour seemed to be a bit rushed. About 15 minutes each more in Pointe Du Hoc and the Cemetery and that much (30 minutes) less in Omaha Beach would be ideal. Our guide was very good in Pointe Du Hoc and the American Cemetery. However, in Omaha Beach he seemed to go a bit too much into the finer details regarding the military assault plans etc.. I feel that this could be avoided. The starting point of the tour should be more clearly indicated. Overall, we enjoyed our guided tour.

Our guide, Victor was amazing. His breath of knowledge and his enthusiasm was amazing from start to finish. Really worth the cost as he was able to tell us so much, paint such clear pictures of the events of D-Day, and was also able to answer any questions we had. The level of detail he was able to remember and recount to us was truly amazing. If you get Victor as your tour guide, you're in for a amazing day. 10 out of 10!

Lovely day with Lea, our lovely tour guide. First 2 chateau’s were wonderful. Last one was too modern for our taste. The visit to St. Emilion was charming.

Wonderful tour exceptional guide
Pauline took myself and 5 Others from Strasbourg to several villages on the Alsacian wine route. She gave so much interesting information from agriculture to architecture, geography and history. She not only knows her stuff she made it interesting. The villages themselves were so quaint and colorful if not a bit crowded due to the tour groups. Some of the time Pauline led us around but we also had some free time which was timed perfectly. If you find yourself in the Alsace region I would highly recommend it. So very worth the money.
