Lea’s wonderful tour

Leah was a fantastic tour guide. With her cheerful personality, and her wealth of knowledge, we learned a great deal about wine appellations. We had about 30 minutes to stroll around St. Emilion & sample a macaron. We visited Chateau Bellevue & learned about the actual wine production process and tasted several varieties & crus. A delightful experience.

Julian was exceptional! His knowledge of the history, the area, the wines was excellent. Great sense of humour and just a nice guy. Sadly due to the weather the highlight of the trip for us would have been the boat trip however we were left to roam round Cassis in the rain for some hours. Perhaps some compensation for the major part of the trip would be in order.

Lots of interesting sites to see

Really nice drive into the country side , especially the visit to the very old hill top town of lesbaux ! Great views of the rocky area below ! Plenty of time to enjoy lunch and see enough of the very touristy town . The displays in Arles calling out locations were Vangogh was inspired were disappointing for the lack of information provided in English and the care or lack there of the painting replicates ! Driver was friendly and answered questions but lack of experience in calling out the details on the Arles walking tour was evident !

The perfect experience

I had really wanted to be able to explore the Alsace countryside without having to drive myself and this tour really exceeded expectations. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and showed us all his favorite spots making us feels like we got to experience a special part of French culture. I highly recommend!

Pauline was such a friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable guide, who gave us so much so much information, not just about the tour and where we are going but also any questions that we posted to her, or tips for our visit to nearby places. Anne was a great tour guide and excellent driver. She was very fluent in English and was even better with explaining wine and all of the Chateau's. She gave great recommendations for lunch during the tour as well as places in Bordeaux for later that evening. All three wineries were wonderful and all different values in price and aesthetic. Very happy we chose this tour!
