A great experience packed into a short amount of time.

It's a good option if you don't have many days to spend in the area. Carlos, our guide, showed us the most important spots in each town and gave us recommendations for places to have lunch. He even took the time to stop and let us take some photos from a distance of a church that wasn't included in our itinerary.

My friend and I loved this tour! We learned so much, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I really liked the locations that this tour took us to. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a good overview of some of the events of D-Day.

The 4-hour half day tour felt comprehensive and moved along well. Our guide kept us well informed all along the way and, though some of my party were concerned in advance about the four hour duration, they all ended up loving the experience. While this half day tour visits "only" 3 principal sites: Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc and the American Military Cemetery, it provides an impactful and excellent summary experience for those wishing to understand the D-Day landings. For sure, there are much longer and detailed tours available for those with the time and interest, but I would at least recommend supplementing the half-day version with a visit to one of the many museums in the area for additional background. In our case, we spent a couple hours before our tour at the Musee du Debarquement in Arromanches.

El grupo era muy pequeño lo que facilitó que pudiéramos compartir y hablar entre todos. La guía fue muy amable y sabía mucho. Nos llevó a un par de lugares que no estaban incluidos en la ruta para que pudiéramos tomar fotos y ver los viñedos.

Wine lovers' dream in St Emilion

Excellent tour guide, Luiggi. Group of eight people, beautiful countryside, St Emilion very impressive, château visit very pleasant, wine tasting nice atmosphere with superb wines.

Rain didn’t stop a great time!

Our guide, Ines, from Orpheus, was amazing. It was scheduled to pour most of the day - not great for 1) being on a small boat (12 capacity) or 2) seeing gorgeous scenery. She flipped our schedule so we got on the first boat of the day and we were able to see 3 calanques before the downpour began. Despite the rain we all had a great time. We grabbed an early lunch and were able to get to the cliff-top during a break in the weather and got some great shots. The vineyard we were supposed to visit got flooded so they cancelled. Ines reached out to other vineyards and was able to book us a tasting, but they cancelled at the last minute! Ines reached out to the museum of civilization in Marseille and got us tickets for the Cosquer underwater cave recreation, which was very interesting and something none of our tour group knew about beforehand. So, it wasn’t the day we were expecting, but Orpheus and Ines made sure we didn’t get short-changed and we all had a great time. In fact, one couple, there with some family, got engaged on the boat in the pouring rain! On some level, it’s about the attitude you bring with you to every day, isn’t it? Oh, and Ines’ lunch recommendation was spot on!

No visit, seems I’ll be charged

I cannot cancel this September 18 trip on TripAdvisor even though it was canceled by the tour operator and I also canceled with TripAdvisor before I left for France. Now TripAdvisor says it’s a go and wants to charge me, and I get an error message when I go to the cancel page. Now I’m irritated with both the tour provider and TripAdvisor.

Fun until the last stop

The last stop at castle was too much for end of day Would have rather had a nice wine tasting experience after visiting so many beautiful places. Tour guide was excellent, just too much climbing and didn’t expect that

Our driver was fully knowledgeable about Bordeaux and St Emilion. She was cheerful and engaging. The three wineries we visited were each unique in their own way with plenty of character and lovely settings.

Luberon is amazing

All 3 villages were beautiful. The views from Gordes were my favorite. It was breathtaking to see the village from the viewpoint. There was enough time in each village to wonder a bit and get a sample of the village. Morgan was a great guide.
