A great trip to Baden Baden and the Black Forest!

Our trip to Baden Baden and the Black Forest was excellent! Our guide - Jerome was extremely knowledgable so it was a great learning experience! We had plenty of time to wander ourselves to see the various places we visited and this was balanced really well with information from Jerome. A lovely day and well worth the price!

Amazing!

This tour has convinced me I need to return again! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The vineyard we visited was not only beautiful but also very obviously a working chateaux so we got the real experience. The only thing I wish we could have done was have a bit more time in the village but it was just a half day tour.

Amazing Wine tour

Our guide Mathis was specular. The tour was extremely pleasant, you didn’t realize that it was a full day tour. There was not worries of where to go what to do. You feel completely taken care of. All the hosts at the vineyards were very welcoming

Pasquel, our guide, was...

Pasquel, our guide, was excellent, knowledgeable, entertaining and funny.. His knowledge of the D -day events is second to none. My only suggestion would be that maybe the description of the events of D day could be shortened a bit particularly on Omaha beach. Standing on the beach in one spot for 40 minutes got to be a bit boring. Maybe only 20 minutes and then spend the extra 20 minutes at Point du Hoc which was much more interesting. We only had 20 minutes of free time at Point du Hoc and that included a long walk back to the van. Easily could have spent more time there.

Experience Wine making in Médoc-Margeaux, tasting too.

Our guide, Roldolphe, was very knowledgeable about the wine making process and business, and most of all, he entertained us thoroughly. It was mid-September and at the Pieuré Lichine winery, we saw the harvest in full swing, grapes being harvested, cleaned and sorted, and dropped into fermentation vats. This was part of an informative tour provided by the winery. This tour included almost every phase of the process. Then the tasting in a comfortable tasting room. Off to another winery for more tasting. During the whole trip Rodophe answered questions, made jokes, and played games. It was a very enjoyable tour, which we recommend highly.

Our guide Pascal had an encyclopedic knowledge of D day and the events preceding it. His passion for the topic was infectious. It was a fast paced tour with lots of information to digest, yet excellent.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The vineyard we visited was beautiful but the tasting was very quick. We'd have preferred to have time to explore the St Emilion village ourselves rather than being walked around by the tour guide.

DDay tour with Pascal-Highly recommend

Excellent tour! Our guide, Pascal was very knowledgeable, so interesting. We not only visited all the D-Day sites, but we were able to understand so much more from Pascal. The tour was amazing, moving, and the all day tour was the perfect length. Also, I had the best almond eclair at our lunch stop at a boulangerie.

Very insightful and...

Very insightful and informative but what put it above an informative tour was Victor’s enthusiasm and especially his insight to Bayeux. Being a hometown kid, he had some fun and interesting stories (about Kenin the Tour rider, etc.)

What an incredible tour!...

What an incredible tour! We loved everything about our day trip to Saint Emilion! Our guide Oscar was engaging and informative and took us to 3 of the best Chateau's in the region. We were there during Vintage and we got to see production along with tasting the fresh merlot juice. I can not recommend this tour highly enough!

Best tour of my trip, well worth it

This has been the best tour of my trip to Bordeaux. The guide was wonderful. She showed up on time, explained well what we would to, she was fun to escort us through the various areas (especially for lunch) and, not least importantly, she is a very good driver (in contrast to a driver I had for a different tour from a different company. Don’t take good driving for granted.) . We visited three châteaux. I’ll say two of them had superb wines that showed me that less expensive wines can be great and more expensive wines can be worth the money for some special occasions. I was definitely introduced to some great wines for which I will go hunting when back home.
