This was an excellent full day excursion. Our guide Anne was very informative and entertaining, giving good insights into museums and sites on our itinerary while allowing adequate free time to explore on our own and have lunch.

Our favorite experience in France so far! Julia was very knowledgeable, passionate and a great story teller. She's also amazing at backing a van into any spot :) We enjoyed every minute of it!

The small group was very nice. I would have liked free time Colmar. No free time to wonder through the shops. Our guide Lea was great and spoke good English

Other than the timing...

Other than the timing issue, everything was great. Although the itinerary originally planned for us to spend 2 hours in Riquewihr — the most beautiful village on the program — we only had 1 hour there. Also since it coincided with lunchtime, we had to explore the village quite quickly and couldn’t fully enjoy it. Apart from that, everything was very well and enjoyable.

Worth it

Great choice of wineries...St Emilion and Pomerol...which makes it very entertaining and a great opportunity to learn the wines from both regions (all 3 wineries were top level). The Guide Carole was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was timely (start and finish).

Relaxing Opportunity to See Alsace

A great small group tour of Colmar, Riquewihr village and Haut Koenigsbourg Castle. It was at the perfect pace and made for a nice relaxing tour. Our guide Leia was terrific. She was an excellent driver and tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, able to answer many queries including the wines of the region.

Brilliant morning, brilliant guide

Great morning, our guide was exceptional. She clearly knew an enormous amount about wine and was quite the connoisseur, and clearly loved her job. We were fortunate enough to be 2 out of 3 on the trip which was even better. She gave us loads of info as we drove around about the area, not just the wines, which was really appreciated. The vineyards we stopped at were really interesting too, and they too were passionate about the trade. All in all, can't recommend highly enough !

Gabriella was a fantastic guide. She had a lot of interesting knowledge about the area and history, she was an excellent driver and the activités were well timed and she gave the group plenty of free time to explore and eat lunch between activities. I would highly recommend this tour.

The trip covered all the major spots of the DDay landing. Importantly it included areas we were not familiar with. Pascal, our tour guide, was informative and funny but most importantly kept everyone on time.

Vic was an incredible tour guide. He was informative and also light-hearted when it was am appropriate time such as in the van. If you have time I would take two half-day tours. It's a lot to take in on a full day tour.
