St. Emilion half-day

The meeting place was easy to find. There were only 4 people on this tour so we had plenty of space in the van. Our guide, Guy, was very knowledgeable about Bordeaux and St. Emilion and explained about the different wine areas. We went to one Chateau in St. Emilion and had a tasting of four wines. We then went to the town of St. Emilion for a brief time; however, we would have liked more time to explore on our own.

Amazing history/winery/landscapes and ofcourse the wine + food

Amazing experience but note there is only red wines on this tour, omega delicious ones at that. Great tour guys who have working in the industry most their lives with endless knowledge of the areas history and wines making process 👏 👍 groups of 8 in spacious people carrier with great commentary the whole 50min journey to st Emilion. The most beautiful château winery countryside and the town itself for lunch was stunning. 10/10 trip especially for the price. Went with my old folks in their 70's if your worried about the walking part and they handled it no problem. Special thanks to our tour guide and the staff at each winery who were all brilliant 👏 👌

We visited several beautiful vineyards and the lovely village of St. Emillion. Great wine tasting. Exceptional wine in beautiful locations. Our guide was informative and helpful. He helped make the day fun and successful.

An awesome tour and tour guide

I want to write a review for the tour guide we had on our recent Exoticca tour in Albania, Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. His name is Saimir and he did an awesome job of keeping our rather large group (28 people from multiple cultures) very happy throughout the ten day tour. He was respectful and helpful to all, and was very informative about the cultures of the peoples we were visiting in the Balkans. He even brought Baklava for the entire group that his mother had made. Saimir made it a great experience for everyone all around. Thanks, Saimir!

This was an amazing full...

This was an amazing full day experience that will last a lifetime. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and her passion of WW2 made it ever more pleasant. I would recommend anyone taking this who wants to follow the footsteps for a day of the events here in Normandy 1944.

Most enjoyable, well worth the time and money

It was great. I learned a lot and Miriam was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable about the wines and easy to talk to. We visited four wineries and sampled a nice variety of wines at each one in an unhurried fashion. We still had time to look around in Equisheim and enjoy lunch there.

We went on a half-day guided wine tasting tour with Pauline and it was excellent. As well as tasting at least 5 different wines in two cellars (one being very unique to the cellar/ area) Pauline gave us an introduction to the area surrounding Strasbourg. So interesting! If you're staying in the city for a short time it's an excellent way to taste some different wines and see some of the beautiful towns and countryside. Pauline was an excellent guide with commentary, she was very happy to answer questions and stop for photos. Thank you Pauline!

The tour was very good. A peaceful drive through the countryside from Bayeaux. Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive. As the tour states there is lots of walking up old stone stairs in the Abbey. Our guide estimated over 350 stairs! It was an interesting and worthwhile tour.

Most memorable

Great tour if you don’t have a full day. Our guide, Matt ( originally from UK) was fantastic. Animated, great story teller of historical events pre and post D Day. If everyone applied the same passion to there jobs, success would be inevitable.

Great experience to look around winery and Beune from Dijon.

Amazing experience, all 5 joiners ware Japanese and coordinator is really kind. He is from around this area and know and love local wines. Talkative and give us lots history and insight for taste or preference of there. We took lots of beauty phone under sunshine, bought 2 bottles wine in separate places and local honey. We’re really beginner of wine but from Dijon effectively looked around 3 winery and Beaune as well in 1 day. So nice experience!

Leuke compacte excursie

Was een leuke excursie. Bezoek wijngaard met proeverij en kort bezoek(30min vrij wandelen) door st emilion. Tip. Zet airco graag voor instappen aan. Was onaangenaam warm bij instappen. Airco ging pas aan toen busje werd gestart na instappen laatste passagier.

Great morning activity

We were looking for a wine tasting excursion that didn’t take 8 hours and involved a lot of driving, and this tour fully met our expectations. Adam was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the history of Burgundy. The two tasting guides did a great job as well! We did two tastings and were back in Dijon by 1:00. Not too much driving, which was a plus!

Fantastic Alsace wine tour

The whole trip was extremely good. Arthur, our guide, was excellent. The visits to the three wineries were better than expected and we have been on a few tours. Arthur also added in other features such as a visit to a jam shop, a trip round a most pretty little town and view points for photos. We had such an enjoyable time and tried all the regional wines!
