Our guide, Lena, was exceptional—she shared her deep knowledge of the region, guided us to fascinating landmarks, and seamlessly connected the sites to the story of early mankind. Our small group quickly became friends, and Lena’s warmth and expertise gave us a richer, more personal encounter with the ancient art of the cave paintings.

Classic French coast

Worth it!!!! Cassis is touristy but you must see it, the boat ride is a nice touch and lunch in the harbor is busy but fun, and then finally a visit at a local winery in Cassis was a nice finale!

Our guide was a native to the region and was able to share a lot of knowledge. Not only of the history on the tour but of the region currently. He was also very accommodating to our group. The others in the group we met were great, also interested in exploring and even though the weather tried to literally dampen our spirits we had a wonderful tour anyway.

Great tour and tour guide

Our tour guide was a lovely English man named Matt. He was very animated, well informed, funny, and made the experience worth the train ride. He went into great detail about the history of the war and talked about interview details from those who knew were alive during the war. I recommend all who take this tour with Matt.
