Very impressed with the places visited, Colmar and other small villages, and then the amazing Castle later in the day. Lots of excellent information from our tour guide Carlos, regarding history of the places and areas we visited, (and also he was lots of fun) a thoroughly enjoyable day, and would highly recommend. There was even time enough to enjoy a lovely sit down lunch as well.

Even though we had a huge rainstorm as we arrived at our first winery, it did not detract from the wine tasting experience. We were made very welcome and our group really enjoyed both the wine tasting, (which was enhanced with information from our lovely tour guide Laurence) and hearing about how the wineries are operated and run by their respective families. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable time.

We did the 4 hr tour to St. Emilion, our tour guys Mathis was great and very knowledgeable. We were able to explore the little village and wine taste: it was perfect! Our family enjoyed it even thought it was a very hot day starting early was a good choice.

A must see for cave art lovers and anyone interested in the history of mankind.

There were five people in our group, and Benoit was an excellent guide. There were even times when someone wanted to stop and visit a site that was not necessarily on our itinerary. Always keeping in mind the time schedule, Benoit accommodated several of these stops. Benoit knows a lot about the history of the area as well as all of the many sites that one could visit given enough time in Dordogne. He is very knowledgeable about prehistory in this area and was able to answer the many questions we threw at him. Benoit has a good sense of humor and also understands how much information you can take in in one short day. This was one of the highlights of our trip so far.

Lascaux IV June 2025 visit

The accuracy and atmosphere made us feel like we were in the real cave of Lascaux. Very well done with impressive architecture too. Overall we highly recommend visiting this experience.

Wonderful trip to the lavender fields!

Wonderful trip to the lavender fields! Stopped at two separate locations to take pictures and experience the fields. We also visited a market to learn about the nature and history of the fields; taste various lavender infused foods and grab some refreshments. And had time to stop at a sunflower field. Morgane was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and fluent in both English and French. Excellent trip overall.

The trip was fantastic! Charline was so lovely and informative. She knows her stuff! It was a gorgeous day. We also were able to stop for lunch in Amboise, what a treat!! Take this tour you will love it! Hopefully you’ll get Charline as a guide. Not only is she amazing, she’s a great, comfortable driver! (Very important on long day trips in a van!) thank you so much for an awesome day in the Loire Valley

Excellent tour of Rocamadour

This was a fabulous tour! Lena was the guide and it was a very small group. The tour allows you enough time to enjoy the town.. Lena took us around but then gave us some free time. I also was with Lena the prior day for the 3 villages and enjoyed that with her also. She was a terrific guide. Nice manner about her and very knowledgeable.
