Fascinating Mekong cruise with Gia
Gia our guide was absolutely fantastic. From the moment she picked us up from our respective hotels, Gia engaged each one in our small group with utmost respect, love and kindness. Gia would be spontaneously be witty about almost everything, and had the most uncanny way of explaining stuff, yet in a lucid manner. She had taken care in arranging at every stop during the tour with even the most subtle things, very precisely, seamlessly and co ordinating with all respective parties involved. It was the memorable tour ever and Gia hands down won the ideal tour guide that we've ever encountered. The trip was amazing with stops at various islands engaging with the flora and fauna including bees in hives, Pythons, domesticated animals, various vegetables, fruits and coconuts. The rowing boat experience was unique. The coconut factory manufacturing / producing various coconut products using Husk to its meat. The coconut sweets were outstanding and we ended buying a lot after sampling. On our way back we were hyper enlightened about the Buddhist faith by Gia and got the opportunity to visit a major Buddhist temple and premises that was nothing short of being highly educative and fascinating. Once again Thank you Gia for a wonderful day.
Not so crowded during our...
Not so crowded during our visit. Maybe more story about Mekong next time. But thank you for the trip and the food.
Great guide but “meh” tour
Our guide, Blanco, was amazing. The tour is “meh”. It was great to see the Mekong Delta, but we didn’t really do or see anything. The Sampan boat ride was nice, but touristy. Lunch was good. Again, nothing negative to say, glad we did it, but it was simply “fine”
Mekong Delta Tour
Mingo was a great tour guide, very friendly and had great english. Rowing and coconut candies at the end were my favorite. Gives a good glimpse into the local culture.
Sunny day in mekong delta
An amazing tour, with visits to local places and a real look at how people live. The bicycle ride experience was fantastic. Our guide, Mr. Tom, was always very attentive and careful with every detail
