Emotional experience

We had a great experience with our guide Alex to Long Than and Nui Dat, as this was where my father was based in the Vietnam war it was special to do the ceremony and lay flowers as a mark of respect

Tour of Nui Dat and Longtan

My brother and I toured Nui Dat and Long tan to gain an understanding of the war, particularly this area as the Australians were based here. Alex, our tour guide not only gave us detailed descriptions of the Australian part in the war but also shared a valuable insight into the bigger picture of Vietnam's history. A great day and tour.

A must-do experience for any Australian visiting Vietnam.

We visited Long Tan with Alex as our guide and found the experience extremely worthwhile. Alex was exceptionally knowledgeable and delivered the history in a way that was clear, engaging, and well balanced with appropriate humour, which really helped our teenage children stay interested and understand the significance of the site. After visiting the War Remnants Museum (we did this the day before), this tour provided valuable context and a deeper understanding of the Australian involvement in the Vietnam War. Alex explained complex events thoughtfully and respectfully, making the experience both informative and accessible. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a well-rounded and meaningful understanding of the Australian perspective at Long Tan.
