No filters are needed for this game of light and reflection as the sun rays reflect off the white sand bottom creating an intense blue color and making your photos and videos almost unreal.

Blue Cave is great, but probably too far from Split to give value for money

Blue Cave is excellent, but very small so time is understandably limited to 10-15 minutes. It’s absolutely worth visiting, but from Split it’s a really long and expensive trip due to distance needed to travel. Much better to visit from a different island if you can. That said, our guides were great. We ran on time. This is a long trip in a speed boat on the open sea, so you will get wet and the boat will bounce in even slightly choppy water. It isn’t the most comfortable trip, but there are no other options from Split. The other sites visited are fine, and we were happy to see Hvar as we weren’t staying there on our trip. Just be aware that this excursion is a long day on a boat with a few short stops. Thanks to the crew for making us feel welcome and being as friendly (Bruno is the only name I can remember).
