Full description
Berlin Mitte holds more history per block than almost anywhere else in the city, and this two-hour walking tour moves through it one stop at a time. Start your journey with a fresh döner kebab, Berlin's own reinvention of a Turkish classic, paired with a Kindl-and-Pilsner beer pairing, then pause opposite Museum Island's grand facades before the walk continues.
From there, a Berliner Weisse beer cocktail in a bar that's poured drinks since the night before German reunification, and a wander through a street art alley layered with Jewish heritage and postwar reinvention. Next comes the currywurst debate that's split Berliners for decades, East style or West, you decide.
The walk closes with a donut, fresh and unhurried, a sweet way to end two hours of food, beer and history through one of Berlin's most layered neighborhoods.

- Please bring a bottle of water – although we do have drinks stops throughout the tour, walking can be thirsty work.
- Come hungry. You’ll be tasting lots of food!

This is a fun tour. I like it so much I do it each time I come to Florence. Our guide Elisa was fabulous and as with all guides on this tour, understands the assignment is to have fun. The food and wine is great and Elisa is a warm, friendly and fun personality.
Tina did a wonderful job and was so passionate about her city, culture, and food! We didn’t have to walk very far for each stop so we could spend more time eating and less time walking!
Our guide, Zack, an American ex-pat whose has been in Prague for over a decade and is now a permanent resident of Czechia, did a great job of finding excellent and interesting food options over more than 3 hours. All of the food was excellent and was supplemented by Zach’s extensive knowledge of Prague history. Particularly good were the Cafe Louvre, a place that made delicious open face sandwiches (similar to Pintxos), and a great place for kolaches. Highly recommend.
