Explore the BS

This was our second kayaking trip with Mihir from make it happen. This experience took us to a small uninhabited Island via a 10 mins boat ride and a 10 min walk through a quaint neighborhood . On reaching the island, we were greeted by a bubbly crisp Kokum drink. we spent some time exploring the island and then went on to circumvent the island via kayak. During kayaking, we explored the mangroves, observed birds like Egrets looking for dinner, Cormorants flying in a V shaped formation, Brahmani Eagle perched atop a tree magnetically, , Ibis flying with poise and elegance!! We learnt a lot about river water commerce, navigation and lots of innumerable informational tit bits that came through in our conversations with Mihir. We wrapped up with some beer and Maggi from the small kitchen on the island. Would highly recommend this activity with kids of any age group with parents. Of course, excellent activity for all age groups.

Kayaking in Chapora with Mihir

Very peaceful and scenic kayaking route on the Chapora River. Mihir did an excellent job of teaching the basics of kayaking and offered great insights about the wildlife and Goa in general.

Great outdoor trip! Relax with nature

Highly recommend this trip! Great for anyone looking for an outdoor activity away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Mihir was an excellent guide. I was solo and he made me feel very comfortable and shared his knowledge of history and birds while we kayaked. One of the highlights from my time in Goa. Two notes: (1) Trip is 2 hours not 1 hour as listed (2) Make sure you have your own transportation. Meeting point is remote and you won’t be able to just catch a taxi.

Nice kayaking on the river

It was a very quiet and lovely experience. The water was very calm, we enjoyed kayaking surrounded by all these coconut trees. The guide was friendly.

Chapora river kayaking amazing sunset trip 4pm

We had a private sunset kayaking trip on the amazing Chapora River. Cost was £25 each. Our guide Mihir was so knowledgable about the local area and nature. Incredible scenery and wildlife, we saw little and great egrets, common and pied kingfishers hunting along the river beds. The sunset was amazing I will remember this trip for ever! There is limited phone reception so the guides meet at Our Lady of Victory Church. If you don’t drive, get the taxi driver to wait for you as there are no passing cabs.
