Itinerary
Pass by: Explore Saligao, one of the more prosperous villages of Goa, owing to the business acumen of its early settlers. The architectural aesthetics of Saligao today reflect the creative style of some of the renowned artists of Goa who have chosen to live a splendid village lifestyle.
Pass by: Visit Goa’s only Gothic style church. Breeze through the wards of Saligao village flanked by fields and elaborate Indo-Portuguese homes. Explore contemporary Goan art and architecture. High Tea at a heritage home.
We will be exploring the beautiful village wards of Saligao which form the residential area of the village that consist of splendid Indo-Portuguese homes, a chapel, a cemetery and paddy fields overlooking a hill.
We will visiting a beautiful Indo-Portuguese home for High-Tea hosted by the owners of the house and a show around of the beautiful property
Pass by: Saligao Institute highlighting the prosperity of the village is prominent landmark. Saligao Institute is located in the residential words flanked by Indo-Portuguese mansions. The narrow walking lanes are colourful, splendid and a sight to behold.

A glimpse of a beautiful village in Goa
It was wonderful to walk by old lanes of Saligao village...& knowing about it's culture and history...community center...A well maintained generations old beautiful house treating me with love with local food in the end. What more would you want. Rachna was amazing company as tour explorer and telling me all the stories (good at clicking photos as well🤪) When in Goa, it's a must thing to do if you are truly an explorer.

Great intro to local heritage with great architecture and hidden gems. Super insightful heritage walk through Saligao Village. Our guide, Ms. Swynne shared fascinating stories about the village's origin and people who helped in developing it. Perfect blend of history and culture.
Saligao village walk
Had such a lovely evening exploring the village of Saligao with our story teller Swynne. It was informative as well as a relaxed . She took her time to explain things about the village to us. The walk was picturesque . And it ended with a high tea at a traditional Goan home. All together it was a very enjoyable experience .
Saligoa Walk
This was a nice experience to learn more about goan life. The house we had snacks in was amazing. Such an experience in itself. Swynne Was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
