Could do better!
Our hotel room was grubby and dusty, looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed under the bed for a while! No fridge which is a shame also :/ I think for the price we paid we were overcharged
Fantastic chilled day at the pool
Went for a day out at water park today, whole experience was fantastic. Staff were great, shout out to lovely life guard lady (short cropped blond hair) who spotted I was a bit nervous going on the slides and checked in with me throughout the day, cheering me on in the queues! Lots of staff, everything working and as clean as these types of places can be. All in all a great day out for the three 12 year olds we took (and the adults enjoyed it too).
So much fun
Had a great time and kids loved it! Food and drink pricey, but great experience
Terrible
Dear Customer Services, I am writing to formally complain about my recent visit to the swimming pool at Alton Towers Resort on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and, at times, concerning from a health and safety perspective. The pool was far too busy, to the point where it felt overcrowded and unsafe. There appeared to be little control over the number of guests admitted, which significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the facilities. The cleanliness standards were also unacceptable. The toilets smelt strongly of urine, and the changing rooms were in a very poor condition—dirty, with food and rubbish left around. Additionally, there were far more people than available cubicles, which made getting changed both difficult and uncomfortable. Queue times for the indoor slides were approximately 60 minutes, which is unreasonable and not reflective of a quality guest experience. There were also not enough inflatable rings available for the lazy river. Despite trying for around half an hour, we were unable to obtain one at all during our visit. When we asked a lifeguard for assistance, we were told that there was nothing he could do as there were not enough rings and that it was simply “pot luck.” This was particularly disappointing as my children were really looking forward to using the lazy river and the slides, but they were unable to use a ring or access either indoor slide within our allocated time. Given the high cost of entry, the overall experience fell far below expectations. I do not feel that the service provided justified the price paid.
It was horrible don’t recommend going.
It was terrible It was like hell to me. It was very busy. The changing rooms were horrible is lit everywhere. First it was sick in the pool and I didn’t even clean it up and I knew about it and then five minutes later they were fishing poo out the water and let everyone back in after and it was very busy and they let people eat by the pool. It was absolutely horrible. I only stayed in the pool and my family for about 30 minutes and when we saw the poo, we left straight away and the staff were a bunch of teenagers that didn’t even care
