Best park in the UK

5 out of 5. By far the best theme park in the UK, and certainly gives DLP a run for its money. All attractions were up and running and the staff are genuinely care about their job. Food is really good for a theme park and it’s good value if you have Merlin passes. We have been to loads of theme parks globally and we have all commented on how great the experience is

1 night stay

Amazing stay, we all had a great time. Only downfall was the Skydrive was broken both days when it would have helped to get around with the kids but everything else was spot on.

Staff need customer service training

Booked a short break for my son's 2nd birthday to take him to Cbeebies Land and staying at Cbeebies hotel. The trip itself was fine, but don't expect good customer service from the hotel or resort ride staff. Upon arriving we drove and parked at the hotel as I had been told that the parking with the booking was only for the hotel car park and on the map it appeared to have a monorail to take you to the entry, a front of house lady came to "greet us", gave me what looked like a map to hang in your car and told us to go and park in express parking, I explained we hadn't paid for express parking and had been told to park in the hotel to which she snatched what I then learnt was a parking pass off me and said "Fine then, walk if you want to." When I asked what she meant she said it's a 40 minute walk to the resort entrance and it appeared that express parking was complimentary to hotel guests, so handed me the pass back. The intention felt like a nice thing, but the delivery certainly wasn't. Bizzare. After entering the resort and making our way to Cbeebies land we headed for the first ride - Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure, it had started raining as we navigated the long winding barriers with zero people in it but the shortcut gates remained locked, on arriving we were barked at to take the pushchair back as it wasn't allowed in, zero signage anywhere to advise you of this, it may be considered common sense but first time visiting a resort after a long drive this could have been better explained or signposted. Back down the length of the barriers and back, to then be barked at that our son was too short for that ride and to go somewhere else. A logical response would have been to check his height prior to sending us back the first time. I then asked what rides were suitable for him, to be told "it's on the website" and had a lovely view of the mans back as he turned to ignore me. For first interaction within the park, had I been of a weaker constitution I may have just left at that point. Unfortunately this attitude felt communal as we traversed the park. One saving grace was the lady on Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure (19/05/2026 around 10:00). I tried my best to recall her name but it evaded me, she was the only person throughout the day who was constantly smiling, chatting to all guests passing by, opened the gates to prevent families needlessly navigating long queue barriers which had no queue plus it was raining, and when asked a question actually answered it giving her best recommendations. She should be commended and used as a training example to the other staff we encountered.

Not Great Value for money

I feel the overall CBeebies land was great for my little one aged 3 she had an amazing time at the parks, I do feel they could have been more rollercoaster to go on for the little ones or more spaces to go when weather wasn’t great like on our trip it poured down with rain. We stayed in the splash landing hotel and I felt the hotel let it down as it very dated and for the amount of money you pay it was not great only one restaurant to use on our whole trip when advertised there is supposed to be a variety of restaurants, however all other restaurants were closed and the Garden restaurant isn’t really child friendly I would say more adult based and we waited a long time for food with part of our order missing and food came before drinks and we had to ask staff about 6 times where things were which wasn’t great.

Birthday celebrations

We had an amazing time with our son for his 4th birthday. He received a special certificate and a birthday ice cream from the hotel. The hotel was completely designed for kids and the whole experience was magical. We rode all the rides in CBeebies land and David walliams area. We also visited the sealife aquarium, which we thought had closed. The only disappointment we had was the pirate boats were not operating on the 2 days we went. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If we had just gone for the day I would say that £37 each ticket would have been really expensive for us and they should look into doing a cheaper ticket for families that only ride the gentle rides!
