The Yampa River section through Dinosaur National Monument offers 72 miles of adventure with nine whitewater sections. A four-day trip provides an exceptional way to experience this rare and beautiful canyon. We had a fantastic jeep tour learning about Silverton’s mining history and seeing some ghost towns. Our guide Jay was very knowledgeable about the mining process having worked in the mines himself. The scenery is fantastic from wildlife to the views.
