Full description

The Cataract Canyon 4-day rafting trip on the Colorado River provides a richer Canyonlands National Park experience than the 3-day, blending exploration with thrilling whitewater. Leisurely days begin with scenic hikes to ruins and grottos, lunches amidst petrified wood, and panoramic views from horseshoe bends, offering a deep dive into the canyon's history. The latter half of the journey explodes with adrenaline. Prepare for Utah's most formidable rapids: 30+ Class III/IV waves, drops, and powerful holes. After conquering the river, relax on beautiful beaches, enjoy catered meals, and camp under the desert's starry expanse. The trip balances motorized travel through flat water with 16 miles of exhilarating rapids, navigated by both oar boats and motor rigs, following the Green River confluence. The flexible schedule allows for a relaxed pace, providing time for reflection and a complete wilderness adventure, combining exploration and whitewater excitement.

Sadie was an amazing guide! We really enjoyed the rapids and views of the river. Sadie was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our group was sad to see the experience end! Additional perks: -a chance to see wildlife -changing rooms outside -a fun group of guides who seem to really love their jobs and get along with each other!

We had the best experience at mild to wild. It was the first time for all four of our kids to do white water rafting. Anthony was the best guide ever! He made everyone feel comfortable and had so much patience with all of our kids, especially our two little boys, that asked a million questions and were a little scared at first. We will definitely be going back!
