A whale of a time
The trip was based entirely on the local knowledge of the skipper and the guide. Niamh Kennedy was our guide, she was articulate and knowledgeable and excellent at following the signs of where the whales might be. An incredible experience, best booked directly with the operator though.

We went on an epic boat tour! It seems that all the weather conditions were favorable for us to witness, for a good hour, the feeding of numerous whales and dolphins that were "jumping" out of the water on all sides. The guide and the captain had never seen that themselves. They are super professional and I think that even with less ideal weather conditions, they are still capable of finding you a whale or some dolphins to admire. I recommend it without hesitation!!!
Unbelievable day with Minke whales and dolphins
I went on WildLife boat trip Friday 7/08/2026. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Easy to find, punctual, very experienced staff, they honestly could not have been nicer. They explained that there were dolphins and minke whales out at sea yesterday and they would head straight out to see if they could locate them. But, as they’re wild creatures they could not guarantee their appearance. OMG nothing prepared me for what i seen about 30 Minke whales and lots and lots of dolphins and birds. It was SPECTACULAR AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET. Book your tour ASAP.
Experience of a lifetime!
Best experience ever! The skipper knew exactly where whales had been spotted the day before and took us there: We were incredibly lucky and saw 5 minke whales feeding on sprat plus loads of dolphins. The skipper managed to steer the boat closer quitly so we could observe them for over an hour! The guide was also very friendly and had lots of information and stories for us. Boat was ideal,too- big enough but not so big as to disturb the wildlife.
Brilliant tour with a great provider
Brilliant tour with very experienced staff even in not ideal weather conditions we felt safe. More importantly we have seen a lot of “wildlife “ which was amazing. The boat was not crowded at all and we could easily move around. Anytime again!
