Itinerary
Depart from Dublin at 09:30am. Meet your guide and fellow travellers at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street to begin an unforgettable day exploring Co. Wicklow, known as the 'Garden of Ireland'. *PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE MEETING POINT 10 MIN BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME*
Our first stop of the day is the breathtaking Powerscourt Waterfall, nestled in the heart of County Wicklow. As Ireland’s tallest waterfall, it plunges an impressive 121 meters (397 feet) into a serene, tree-lined valley, creating a truly mesmerizing sight. Surrounded by the majestic woodlands of the Powerscourt Estate, this natural wonder has captivated visitors since the 18th century. Its enchanting beauty has even made it a popular filming location for movies and TV shows, adding to its magical allure. Take in the soothing sounds of cascading water, explore the scenic walking trails, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this unforgettable destination.
Situated in the "valley of the two lakes," Glendalough is a historic gem surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It was created as a monastery retreat in the sixth century by Saint Kevin. Wandering around the remnants of the ancient city, visitors can learn about Ireland's spiritual and historical heritage. You can also have lunch at a neighbouring restaurant.
The last stop of our Wicklow day tour is to a working sheep farm. Meet a friendly local farmer who will delight in introducing you to rural life on the farm. You will be introduced to their working sheepdogs; they will explain the breed of dog used and show you how they are trained to carry out their duties. The farmer will also talk about the different breeds of sheep in Ireland and what they are used for. Then finally the main event, a sheepdog demonstration. This is a truly unique experience and gives you a great insight into how dogs are used to herd sheep, be it in the hills or in the fields using voice and whistle commands.
We arrive back in Dublin’s fair city at around 4:45 pm. Thanks for joining us!

Traveler reviews
Worth a visit.
Breath taking views and great place to spend a nice day with the family very calm and relaxing.
This tour was great....
This tour was great. Time will get away from you. The falls almost demand 100s of pictures, then the stream calls for some, add your partner and your late back to the bus. The tour guide was funny and has many historical facts to share, answers questions and feeds the experience of fun and excitement.. We loved and enjoyed the singing. Thanks for the great experience!!
Unexpected delight
Beautiful countryside with sheep everywhere. Knowledgeable tour guide and 3 separate activities made the day fly by.From a beautiful waterfall to the ruins of an old walled city to watching a shepherd show us his dogs skills. Great fun and very family friendly.
Accessibility Description Could Use Work
The tour was a good time. I did find that accessibility at the Glendalough location was a bit lacking. The actual lakes are about a 15-20 minute walk (one way) to the spots that are pictured on the listing. The cemetery & tower are closer to the drop off location (about 5 minutes). I was saddened to hear that some folks on the tour with mobility issues missed out on visiting some of the sites due to the distance of the trails/small inclines. I wish this was disclosed in the original listing.
The Singing Bus Driver
Went on tour with Mr. Joey Mulligen who is fantastic and one of the best tour guides I ever experienced . He was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable about historical facts. This man deserves an award and monetarily compensated for job excellence. I wish I could have him as a tour guide over and over again. I hope his company takes this commentary seriously. Mr. Mulligan is a keeper.
