Itinerary
Pass by: We are going to start the tour on Kanonicza 11 street which is the oldest street in Krakow, where many renaissance and baroque tenement houses with decorative portals have been preserved.
We will walk slowly towards the nearby Wawel Hill, on which the Polish pearl of architecture has been built. You will learn who built the castle, as well as where the funds for its construction came from. We are going to go uphill, pass through the Arms Gate, stop by the monument of Tadeusz Kościuszko (one of the most important Polish heroes), and later – pass by the entrance to Wawel Hill central square. You will admire Wawel Hill, which is a mixture of architectural styles due to the reign of different kings over the centuries. Our guide will bring you the full history of Wawel Hill, interesting facts about the people who ruled the castle, intrigues, and funny situations that could lead to the tragedy. There will also be the Wawel dragon and the legend associated with it, known to every Pole.
Sightseeing the amazing building from the outside. Learning the history of the one of the oldest church in the City.
You can end your guided tour in the middle of the Wawel hill, but we recommend going beyond the castle, to the statue of the Wawel dragon and experiencing its fiery entertainment.

Traveler reviews
Not recommended, boring
So I state that we did not have a Physical Guide but the Audio Guide which to be honest was quite boring, talked a lot and sometimes useless things and was very repetitive, sometimes certainly also said facts and things interested but it was all mostly boring. And I want to say DO NOT TAKE THE TICKET TO THE DRANGON’S DEN (aka the famous Wawel dragon cave) it’s literally 10 minutes of spiral stairs to go down and you go through a “cave” where you just take a shower because the condensation makes the ceiling drip and you just finally get out of the castle, it’s more stair time than anything else. I wouldn't do it again overall
