The visit to Ain Karim...
The visit to Ain Karim Vineyard was amazing. Nicolas and Miguel are a team - Nicolas is the guide and translator and Miguel is the chauffeur. They are both warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about Villa de Leyva, Colombian history, and local dynamics. It is so fun to talk with them. Nicolas reached out to confirm reservation details and pick up the morning of the tour. The vinyard is beatiful and the wine tasting experience is well curated with an educational tour of the vinyard and the aging cave. The tasting was fun and each glass was accompanied by a small tasting snack. Nataly, the vineyard attendant, was great! She was engaging and asked questions to check for understanding and engagement with the experience. She and Nicolas answered my questions in detail. An amazing experience

Such a beautiful experience! Nicholas was an amazing guide. We tasted 4 different wines and toured the vineyard. The wines were wonderful and we walked away with several bottles. The vineyard is very well maintained.
