Full description

Your Victoria sweet adventure begins in the heart of Downtown, where beautiful architecture, local food, and the relaxed atmosphere of Vancouver Island come together. Over the next two hours, we’ll explore Victoria on foot while enjoying delicious donuts, pastries, coffee, and other sweet treats along the way.

We’ll kick things off with freshly made donuts, giving you the perfect introduction to Victoria’s local food scene. Expect delicious flavors and a creative approach to this classic treat before we head out to explore the surrounding streets.

Our second stop is just a short walk away, where we’ll switch things up with freshly baked pastries. Victoria has an impressive collection of independent bakeries and cafés, and this stop gives us a chance to experience another side of the city’s sweet scene. From flaky pastries to seasonal creations, there’s always something delicious to discover.

From there, we’ll continue through Downtown Victoria, taking in its historic buildings, colorful storefronts, public spaces, and distinctly British influences. Your guide will share stories about Victoria’s history, culture, and transformation into one of Canada’s most charming coastal cities.

Next, we’ll pair another sweet treat with locally roasted coffee, a perfect combination as we continue our walk toward one of Victoria’s most fascinating neighborhoods.

Our final stretch takes us into historic Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in Canada and an area packed with character, history, restaurants, shops, and hidden passageways. We’ll make our way toward famous Fan Tan Alley, one of the narrowest and most unique streets in the city.

For our final stop, we’ll finish with another freshly baked treat tucked away near the alley, providing a delicious finale to our journey through Victoria.

Come hungry and ready to explore. This family-friendly walking tour combines incredible donuts, pastries, coffee, Downtown Victoria, historic Chinatown, Fan Tan Alley, local history, architecture, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable sweet adventure.

The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
