Discover the Palace of Versailles
Discover the Palace of Versailles, one of the world’s most famous royal residences just outside Paris. Originally a modest hunting lodge for Louis XIII, it was transformed by Louis XIV into the political heart of France and a dazzling symbol of absolute monarchy.
Walk Through the Royal Apartments
On your guided tour, explore the opulent Royal Apartments where French kings received ambassadors and hosted grand ceremonies. Richly decorated with paintings, sculptures and gilded details, these rooms showcase the artistic splendour and ceremonial life of the French court.
Marvel at the Hall of Mirrors
Experience the legendary Hall of Mirrors, Versailles’ most iconic gallery. Lined with hundreds of mirrors reflecting light from the gardens, this spectacular space was designed to glorify the power of Louis XIV and later hosted key moments in history, including the signing of the Treaty of Versailles after World War I.
Stroll the Formal Gardens of Versailles
Step outside to wander the extraordinary formal gardens designed by André Le Nôtre. With fountains, statues, tree-lined avenues and perfectly geometric parterres stretching to the horizon, the gardens became the model for royal landscapes across Europe and remain a highlight of any visit.
A UNESCO World Heritage Icon
Recognised for its historical importance and architectural influence, the Palace and Park of Versailles were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Reviews
Great experience, guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Victor brought us around the different sites and showed us so many cool sites
Alex was the most experienced, knowledgeable, and chilled tour guide of all the 5 tour guides we experienced. We learned a lot from him about the culture, history, and geology of the region. He also provided great context to understand the regions' wines. This tour to Cassis and the calanques was beautiful and would get a 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that this expensive tour did not include lunch. The wine tasting was good but I had better in Bordeaux and it included lunch.
Matt was an awesome tour guide. His passion for D-day made the experience that much better. He was very knowledgeable. Even my children were glued to his every word. Great experience!
