We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Romy exploring the city highlights. Romy is extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant and answered all of our questions. You will be lucky to have Romy for your guide

Romy made the city come alive

Romy was knowledgeable and mixed in her personal experiences growing up in the city. Her insights changed our perspective of Venice as a tourist town to a place where many people have deep roots. She even gave us a fantastic dinner recommendation.

The only way to truly meet the Queen of the Adriatic…

Our time in Venice was very limited (two days) so we wanted to prioritize getting to know and understand the city and her stories. The tour guided by Lorenzo was the perfect choice for us—he quickly assessed our interests and proceeded to give us a 90 minute guided tour of the city, both the stories behind the well known sites (like the Rialto bridge) as well as taking us into tiny alleyways and passages to get a feel for the Venezia that few tourists ever see. After 90 minutes learning the history, the legends, and the present day realities of the city, we stepped into a gondola that took us so quietly through the canals as the sunset faded and the lights of Venice turned on around us. This tour was a splurge for us, but there is only one Queen in Venice and this is the perfect guide to introduce you. I would do do this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone coming to visit who wants to step outside the main tourist routes and try being Venetian for an evening.
