Itinerary
Pass by: Begin your private tour with expert local guide in the cool and refreshing evening. As you'll soon see, the square of Piazza della Signoria is full of life: locals meeting, children playing on the Loggia dei Lanzi, visitors stopping to see where Michelangelo’s David originally stood and now a copy of it stands.
Pass by: After exploring the infamous piazza, make your walk along the beautiful renaissance streets until you find yourself at the Arno River. The golden evening light is sure to make some impressive photos.
Pass by: Cross the Arno river at its narrowest point, and cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge where you will discover the neighborhood of Oltrarno
Pass by: As you find yourself on the other side of the Arno, take in views of the imposing Palazzo Pitti and it's infamous Boboli Gardens.
Pass by: After stopping for a tasty treat of gelato, walk like a local through famous shopping streets such as Via Roma and Piazza della Repubblica. Your guide will provide you with tips on the best places to shop and eat

Great way to get your bearings in Florence
Monica was phenomenal! She was so fun and gave us a good lay of the land. You get to cover so much of the area you can really plan out areas of interest going forward. I would definitely recommend this tour as getting your bearings for Florence. Would definitely recommend Monica specifically as she was very sweet and made it a very enjoyable time.

We had a wonderful evening stroll with Aldo, learning all about the highlights and history of Florence. What a great way to get oriented in this beautiful city before we continue exploring during the next few days.
Food tour in Florence!
This was not a walking tour of Florence but a food tour in Florence with Emmanuela. I was not given the option to choose the food tour. On from this.. Emmanuela was friendly and welcoming. She provided local knowledge about our location as well as the food establishments we visited. The wine and aperitifs as well as our main courses were all superb! She even surprised me (with a little help from Raf) with a lovely birthday dessert and candle!!!! How very special was this our last evening in Florence. We have totally fallen in love with Italy.
