Itinerary
Visit a historic Venetian bakery and street food shop, serving locals since 1905. Here, we’ll taste a classic mortadella, pesto and buffalo mozarella pizza.
Enjoy a glass of DOCG Prosecco paired with two traditional Venetian bites: a savory meatball and polenta topped with shrimp in saor, combining local flavors with a sparkling touch.
Pass by: Take a panoramic stroll through Cannaregio, exploring the charming Ponte Chiodo, Venice’s only bridge without railings, and the historic Misericordia. Enjoy picturesque canals, quiet alleyways, and the authentic Venetian atmosphere.
Pass by: As the world's first ghetto, it remains an indelible symbol of resilience and the complex interplay of diverse communities in Venice.
Where tradition meets innovation. Step inside to savor a tasting of creamy artichoke risotto paired with a local wine or beer, enjoying authentic Venetian flavors in a warm, inviting setting.
Pass by: Pass through Venice’s Jewish Ghetto at Campo de Gheto Novo, one of the oldest in Europe. Explore its historic streets, learn about its rich cultural heritage, and soak in the unique atmosphere of this historic Venetian quarter.
Cozy Venetian bacaro where you will enjoy a spritz-making demo, learning about its history. Sip on a classic spritz and taste two traditional cicchetti, tiny sandwiches with codfish & sadrines or shrimp in saor.
From November to February, end at Pasticceria Nobile and get ready for a Tiramisù, the most famous Italian dessert.
From March to October, close the tour with a creamy, fresh gelato.

A nice Venice eating and drink experience
Gioele (Joe) provided an excellent overview of Venice history and the local cuisine. The restaurants were off the beaten path and local haunts, which made it a nice experience. We had a nice mix of local cuisine that was excellent, which was also a sufficient amount of food and drink unique to the area. Joe was an excellent and knowledgable guide, and explained things well. My only recommendation is that it be less rushed in a couple of places since there was 30 minutes left of the advertised time by the end.
Enjoy getting to know Venice through food with a voice of a wonderful local guide!
Irene showed us a fabulous five stops today throughout Venice. We enjoyed eating like a local, sampling delicious cicchetti, risotto, wine, and gelato - all with a bit of Venice history woven into the conversation. The pace was perfect - a nice walk between bites - and plenty of time to talk and enjoy the food and the company. We would do this again in a heartbeat!
Amazing Venetian Food

Joe was amazing
Joe was great, did a great job explaining everything and overall amazing. (I know I’m spelling his name wrong)
Best food tour!
We loved this food tour- our guide, Joe, was interesting and fun! The food was delicious and filling. I am a vegetarian, my husband is not, and we both enjoyed all the food (and drinks) we tried! Highly recommend!
