Reviews
This was a fun and relaxing way to start our day in Venice! Our guide was skilled and walked us through the various steps of proper mask creation, letting us select our own style of mask and colors to suit. We got to sit in a shop full of gloriously decorated pieces, and the whole place was humming with inspiration. It was a small but cozy space. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and let us work at our own pace, giving us history and facts about Venice and it's culture surrounding masks (like Carnival) in-between rounds of painting and drying them. My only advice to others wanting to do this class is to give yourself a wide window of open time afterwards just in case you run over, it's easy to get swept away in the creative process, and forget that clocks exist. This class is great for all ages, creative people, and anyone who has always dreamed of having a Venician mask of their very own!
