Great Vatican Visit

Our guide was great! She knew the tour well and explained everything. She interacted with our 15 year old and helped him stay interested. We enjoyed the tour!

Poor customer service/information during the papal audience on Wednesdays caused chaos.

Livtours is not recommended. The information that one cannot walk through the Vatican grounds on Wednesdays due to the papal audience reached us after our tour had begun. Thus, we were in the middle of the chaos of security checks. It is absolutely necessary to bypass the entire Vatican building on Wednesdays to get to the tickets at the Livtours office; this information was revealed 5 minutes after our tour was supposed to start. An independent visit without the tour guide was also no longer possible due to the late delivery of the tickets online. Despite our complaint, we did not receive a refund and thus paid 119 euros for nothing.

Knowledgeable guide and great experience

Giovanna (Bigmoma) was a joy to have as a guide. She was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable on all the art and architecture here. Despite it being crowded in the Vatican, as expected, it was still easy to follow along as we walked through the multiple hallways and buildings. Would highly recommend LivTours as your guide!
