Traveler reviews
Could’ve been a better experience
The earpieces are so old, they kept falling off my ear. The audio quality was so bad, you could not make out what the guide was saying. She was so impolite and condescending it was very uncomfortable, towards the end the crowd just started just ignoring her and her many “quizzes” trying to make her look so smart, she compared my son to another 12 y/o and told him he was very tall and that mine was short. I hope this helps Elena to get better people’s and social skills so she can provide better tours.
Enjoyed the rich view of history
Appreciated the nearly continuous narration of the historical background and context during our tour. Our guide both acknowledged us as individuals and did well to account for the group. Areas for growth: setting an expectation for time to enjoy the Sistine Chapel would make regrouping at the exit to the Chapel go more smoothly. Reducing the swift pace of narration may help to make the content even more understandable. It would also be helpful to announce early to the group when restrooms are available and whether there is sufficient time to stop there. Thank you for a memorable journey!
