Full description

Your Toronto sweet adventure begins in the heart of downtown, where some of the city’s most exciting food, art, architecture, and neighborhoods come together. Over the next two hours, we’ll make our way from downtown toward Queen Street West and Kensington Market, tasting incredible donuts and sweet treats while discovering the stories and personality that make Toronto such an exciting city to explore.

We’ll start with our first donuts of the day, featuring creative flavors and beautifully made creations that set the stage for everything to come. From here, we’ll head west through downtown, taking in the mix of historic buildings, modern architecture, street art, restaurants, and independent businesses that define this part of Toronto.

Our second stop takes us to Queen Street West for another completely different style of donut. Expect delicious flavors, inventive combinations, and plenty of personality. As we explore Queen West, your guide will share stories about the neighborhood and its long-standing reputation as a center for Toronto’s art, music, fashion, and creative culture.

Next, we’ll turn north toward Kensington Market, one of Toronto’s most colorful and diverse neighborhoods. Generations of immigrants have helped shape Kensington into the eclectic collection of restaurants, markets, vintage shops, cafés, murals, and independent businesses you see today.

Here, we’ll switch things up with freshly made churros. Warm, crispy, and coated in cinnamon and sugar, they provide a delicious change of pace before we continue deeper into the neighborhood.

Our final stop brings us back to donuts for one last indulgence. These handmade creations are the perfect finale after experiencing several different sides of Toronto’s sweet scene.

Depending on the day of the week, season, availability, and group size, the exact route, stops, and tastings may change. No matter where the day takes us, one thing is guaranteed: it will always be delicious.

Come hungry and ready to explore. This family-friendly walking tour combines incredible donuts, churros, Queen Street West, Kensington Market, Toronto history, street art, local culture, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable sweet adventure.

The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
