Full description

This three-day, two-night trip runs from Paris to Avignon. Depart Paris at 10:00 a.m. on Day 1. Your driver meets you at the Avignon TGV station and takes you to your 4-star hotel. The afternoon is free, with tickets to the Pope's Palace and the Pont d'Avignon included. A three-course welcome dinner follows.

Day 2 is a full-day small-group tour, eight guests at most: Roussillon, Gordes, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the Pont du Gard, and Les Baux-de-Provence. You meet your guide at 8:30 a.m. at the Avignon Tourist Office and return around 7:00 p.m. for dinner in Avignon.

Day 3 is a half-day wine tour in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with tastings at two wineries. You are back in Avignon around 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon train to Paris.

Two nights at a 4-star hotel with breakfast, all listed admissions, both dinners, and the winery visits are included. Drinks with dinner and rail from Paris are not. Price is $1,925 per person. A 5-star upgrade is available on request.
