Full description

Welcome to Charleston’s darker side. The Death and Depravity Tour is a 90-minute, adults-only experience that explores the city’s most scandalous and unsettling true stories—many of which still echo in the form of restless spirits and ghostly sightings.

You’ll descend into the haunted Provost Dungeon where pirates and prisoners once suffered in silence, and meet the “Dead Bride” who collapsed on her wedding day—possibly poisoned for profit. Learn the tragic romance that inspired Edgar Allan Poe’s “Annabel Lee,” and the disturbing story of Lavinia Fisher, a charming innkeeper turned alleged serial killer whose final words still chill the spine.

From premature burials to plague-haunted graveyards and the infamous pirates that prowled Charleston’s coast, this tour uncovers the depravity that lingers just below the cobblestone charm. You’ll hear tales of murder and madness, hauntings and heartbreak—and meet the ghosts of those who never got their justice.

This is not a family-friendly stroll. It’s a raw, riveting exploration of Charleston’s haunted underbelly—designed for curious adults who want to go deeper, darker, and more disturbingly real.
