Full description

San Antonio’s cobblestone streets may shine under the Texas sun, but as night falls, a different story begins to unfold—one of sorrow, sacrifice, and spirits that still linger. The Ghosts of San Antonio Tour is a 90-minute all-ages walking experience that takes you through the city’s most haunted historic locations.

From the spectral guardians of the Alamo to the haunted halls of the Emily Morgan and Menger Hotels, you’ll uncover tales of battle, disease, betrayal, and unfinished business. Learn about the restless nurses and elevator phantoms of a hotel built atop a former hospital. Hear the story of Sallie White, a beloved maid whose spirit still roams the halls, and discover how Teddy Roosevelt’s ghost may still be recruiting in the bar where he once plotted his next war.

The tour also dives into legends surrounding the Spanish Governor’s Palace and the notorious Old Bexar County Jail—now a hotel—where the past is never quite at rest. Graveyards beneath cathedrals, phantom priests, weeping ghosts by wells, and fire-wielding spirits defending sacred ground…this is a city where history and hauntings collide.

Whether you’re a curious traveler, a history buff, or just here for the chills, this tour offers a deeply engaging and spine-tingling look into one of America’s most haunted cities.
