Solid experience, it the transportation and times is not ideal
Great location, but the ride is closer to 90minutes than 60 minutes and the ferry is packed, so if you don’t line up 30 minutes early both ways, your family will need to sit separately. All in all, you only have about 3 hours in Symi or 2 1/2 hours if you travel in a group.

Amazing day trip to Symi
I would highly recommend Half Price Tours! From start to finish, everything was so easy and well organised. They picked us up right in front of our hotel, gave us our ferry tickets, and dropped us off directly at the harbour right in front of the ferry. The ferry journey was about an hour, and there is a bar and toilets on board. Once we arrived, we had almost 4 hours to explore Symi, which was the perfect amount of time. We had a few drinks, got some food, browsed the souvenir shops and even stopped for dessert. Symi Island itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting! 🇬🇷💙 They also picked us up right at the ferry when we returned and dropped us straight back to our hotel, so we didn’t have to worry about getting around ourselves. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was stress-free from beginning to end. We had such a great time and would 100% recommend Half Price Tours if you’re visiting Rhodes and want to do a day trip to Symi! ❤️
