Itinerary
Little Italy is a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, packed with trendy cocktail bars, brewpubs and restaurants with bustling patios. Upscale clothing boutiques, indie music venues and quaint piazzas dot the area, while the weekly Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market draws crowds to its mix of produce, gourmet food and craft stalls. The green lawns of Waterfront Park have fountains, and offer views of the bay.

Amazing food tour!
Had a fantastic time with Anthony. As a local, he is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel like a VIP in Little Italy. The choice of restaurants and dishes was excellent; rather than basic Italian dishes, we got to try several unique dishes, many of which had great stories behind them. If Little Italy is in your San Diego itinerary, you must try this food tour!
Food Treasures from Italy
If you visit San Diego ( or live in/close to), you must include Anthony's tour of Little Italy! History, suspense, a wealth of information, and DELICIOUS food! Anthony provided history, ingredient, and preparation information for every dish we were served. He has chosen treasures from Italy that he is so proud of to share, and every one was a hit. This type of tour was out of our comfort zone, but there wasn't an awkward moment - Anthony is the ultimate host and the group is "familia" right away. Sharing a few pics, but no description so you can come find out for yourself!
Restaurant experience
This was a great tour of different t restaurants in Little Italy and trying the local cuisine. From the experience I have saved the restaurants to come back and eat my next time in San Diego.

This tour is worth every penny!! Anthony is an incredible story teller and a fountain of knowledge about Little Italy. The history him and his family have in San Diego is rich and fascinating. Not only do you get delicious local Italian food, but an appreciation for the area, all accompanied by an incredibly talented and welcoming host.

Anthony was an absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and gracious host and your guide. He is clearly a staple of the community and understands the history like no one else. Additionally, all of the food was absolutely incredible and we left feeling full. Fantastic value and I highly recommend to anyone visiting Little Italy in San Diego!
