Great view!
From past visits to Hungary I would tell people to hike up Gellert Hill to the Statue of ‘Liberation’ to get a bird’s eye view. This skydeck view - 120m up - is great and you get lifted the 29 stories up on an elevator. The view is from the Buda (north) side toward the west, so the Parliament and Gellert are further away, Pricing to ride up at to the skydeck at the time of this writing is 2,900 HUF general cost with student and senior cost of 3,000 HUF. Note that the rooftop above the glass panels is open.
Top overview
Breathtaking views over Budapest. From here you can see almost all the important sights. Danube, bridges, the hills etc. Explanations of the most important places and structures can be accessed via audio guide. The tall building is located far from the center in a new industrial district.
